Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of the laboratory
• Perform all procedures in accordance with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram (ECG) and spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way.

About you:

• 10-12 years of experience in HR function, ideally in business partnering in a high-growth or start-up environment.
• A collaborative and thoughtful experienced HRBP who sees the big picture and is comfortable getting into the details.
• Experience in team management and excellent leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent understanding of the changing HR environment, best practices and emerging trends.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on key issues, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Tech savvy and comfortable with any HRIS (preferably BambooHR), GSuite especially Excel skills.
• Experience in driving cultural change in mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
• Resilient and comfortable working and leading in a changing and dynamic environment.

The Clinical Support Assistant is responsible for providing phlebotomy service, perform electrocardiogram and spirometry for patients that comes for diagnostic services. They are to provide good customer service, quality customer care and accurate collection of samples and performed procedures in accordance to work instructions.

Job Description

• Provide fast, skillful and accurate blood collection for patients using venipuncture, capillary and heel-prick
• Perform phlebotomy, ECG, spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way
• Perform point of care testing (POCT INR and Glucose) independently
• Ensure work area is clean and tidy. Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines
• Ensure 2 identifier is performed for every patient prior to collection before performing test for patients
• Provide clinicians with timely, quality and accurate results
• Ensure proper documentation for traceability and in adherence to good documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance to workplace safety, hand hygiene and other applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements of the laboratory.
• Participate actively in company’s activities – team building or training programs.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all external and internal clients (patients, doctors, vendors) over the counter or on the phone
• Perform basic clinical laboratory test such as dipstick, HbA1c and aliquot of urine samples.
• Assist in general administration of the laboratory e.g. Statistics collation, critical value reporting collation
• Carry out other duties assigned by reporting office

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

Recognised Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, health sciences or a Certificate in phlebotomy

Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)

• Experienced in performing phlebotomy in a fast pace environment
• Patient, friendly, caring and show compassion for patients
• Able to communicate with elderly in dialect would be advantageous
• Ability to learn new IT systems for blood collection.
