The post will sit within the Data Quality section of the Performance & Information department and will work closely with IT Systems owners, developers and users to ensure the accuracy, completeness and validity of the data captured within the organisation. MAIN RESPONSIBILTITES
• Develop a risk-based IT systems audit schedule to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements, good clinical, operational and administrative practice, departmental SOPs and applicable Trust policies.
• Implement an IT systems audit schedule by planning and conducting all internal audits with assistance from external consultants or suppliers as necessary. Prepare internal audit reports. Ensure corrective and preventative action plans developed by the auditees are appropriate and implemented.

Job Description

• Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine risk exposure, and recommend remediation strategies.  
• Conduct risk-based audit assignments, including planning, liaising with the auditees, developing risk-based audit programs, executing audit fieldwork, documenting audit evidence and findings, drafting the audit report, and reporting to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors. 
• Attend the end-of-audit discussion with auditees to confirm the drafted audit findings, root causes, audit recommendations, and management-agreed actions. 
• Perform follow up with the auditees on the progress of remediation actions and the implementation status of the agreed actions with regard to audit findings. 
• Conduct special reviews, ad hoc assignments, and investigations as directed by the Audit Committee and Board of Directors. 

Experience desired (if any):  

• Minimum 2 years working experience in IT audit or IT Assurance or IT QA environment. Fresh grads is welcome to apply.  
• Working exposure in ISO27001, SOC, ISAE 3000.   
• It is preferable if the candidate possesses certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity or related field. 
• It is preferable if the candidate possesses certifications such as CISA,CA ,CPA, CBA, CISSP, CIA, ISO Auditor etc.

What do we expect from you?

• To audit all daily income that has been received by the hotel and to ensure that all relevant revenues such as Rooms, F&B and other revenues, are correctly and completely recognized and recorded in the General Ledger accounting system.
• To be responsible for all daily revenues and statistics of the hotel.

How your day looks like?

• Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Reports to the Hotel & F&B management Team
• To review all paid-outs, revenue adjustments, rebates and allowances for reasonableness, properly approved with supporting, and to report any deviations from hotel policies and procedures.
• Review on a daily basis the Night Manager’s report:
• Guest in-house rate check report, variance must be explained by FO
• Complimentary and House use room to come with appropriate supporting document
• Guests checked out with open paymaster accounts (Guest Ledger)
• Guests in house with credit limit exceeded (High Balance Report)
• Revenue adjustments
• Check market segment report.
• Periodically conduct training for Front Office staff.

F&B:

• To verify that all F&B discounted checks are fully justified, properly recorded into POS system and to prepare subsequent reports, as necessary, for hotel management.
• Audit F&B outlet checks void for explanation and approval by the Outlet managers or Assistants.
• Review all house use and entertainment checks, ensure that they are properly signed.
• Investigate all discrepancies and make necessary adjustments (if any).
• Periodically conduct training for F&B Team.

OTHERS:

• Ensure that the Guest Ledger, Advanced Deposit Ledger and City Ledger balance to the General Ledger on a daily basis.
• Ensure POS and Opera are balanced.
• Ensure audit compliance.
• Account for Other departmental revenue (eg. Telephone, Car Parking)
• To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Global Trade Compliance Director, Primary role is to ensure compliance with policies and procedures for supply chain security and trade as related to imports and exports worldwide. Role is to function as support point of contact for Customs and Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) and CTPAT profiles and will communicate directly with the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Supply Chain Security Specialists (SCSS). Responsible primarily for Supply Chain Security audits and also contributing on Trade Compliance audits mainly for locations in the US, Mexico, and Canada. Also responsible for documentation required by CTPAT, supply chain security training materials and standardized formats are a corporate level. Direct liaison and support for OEA (Mexico’s Authorized Economic Operator program).

Major responsibilities include:

• Conduct recurrent audits pertaining to Supply Chain Security, not restricted to but including CTPAT audits
• OEA MX Support
• Work collaboration with audited locations for actionable items resulting from audits
• Procedure and policy ownership
• Providing training where and when required
• Collaboration with multi-functional teams
• Develop and maintain risk assessment protocols to determine focus areas
• Develop and conduct internal supply chain security training
• Work with supply chain partners to ensure continuous supply chain security
• Work with facilities to continuously improve supply chain security procedures and to ensure facility readiness for SCS audits
• Keep informed of supply chain security opportunities and innovations
• Represent Regal in interactions with CBP CTPAT team
• Work with Manager to lead facilities through CTPAT and OEA validation visits
• Travel to locations required to conduct audits and assessments
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

The Trade Compliance Analyst must possess the following:

• 2+ years Background and knowledge of supply chain security practices and certification requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish required
• Utilizing personal skills, outside counsel and corporate audit process to assess risks and develop new policies and procedures
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of MS Office products
• Must be flexible to travel

Desired Qualifications:

The following would enhance the performance of the Trade Auditor

• AA or BS/BA degree in International Trade, Logistics or similar area of study, preferred.

As a Senior Auditor, you will bring your experience and commercial focus to our customers and team. Reporting to the Audit Managers/ Directors, you will be responsible for planning audit engagements, supervising junior audit staff during audit fieldwork and ensuring outcomes comply with internal quality compliance and Australian Auditing Standards.

The successful applicant will

Have a Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce or Business-related degree.
Ideally will be CA or CPA qualified or working towards qualification and have 3-5 years' experience in external audit
Demonstrate effective project management skills for an allocated pipeline of audit engagements
Liaise directly with customers finance staff to deliver the audit engagement that is aligned with the client needs and the firm's audit methodology
Supervise and coach junior audit staff during audit fieldwork
Have strong communication skills and provide regular updates to their audit Managers/ Directors on the status of their audit engagements as well as significant audit issues identified
Perform some review of audit work papers prepared by junior audit staff
Deliver high quality audit services, this includes:
preparation of job budgets and staff work allocations for audit engagements
conducting and documenting audit planning and completion procedures
drafting the report to the audit committee / board of directors
review / compilation of statutory financial statements prepared under IFRS and relevant Australian regulations
preparing the audit opinion over the financial statements under relevant regulations
