The role purpose

The Auckland Project is a collection of heritage attractions including galleries, gardens and parkland, centred around Auckland Castle, a former home of the Prince Bishops of Durham.
The successful candidate will be working to assist in the development and maintenance of a wide range of gardens. From our walled garden, built in the 17th century but now under development with a contemporary glasshouse and a new production space, to a range of gardens within the castle curtilage, including water features, courtyards, wildflower filled wilderness areas and a medieval bowling green. The applicant will also help maintain other gardens throughout the estate including hotels and carparks. It will be a varied and rewarding role.


Context

This role will require the successful applicant to be a good all-round horticulturalist, with an eye for detail and pride in their work, and because our gardens are a part of a larger visitor attraction, we are looking for someone who also feels comfortable engaging with the public.

The role purpose:
We are looking for a Front of House Supervisor to join the passionate team to deliver excellent hospitality throughout day-to-day activities, Functions and events. Attends weekly risk meetings Work well in a multi-disciplinary team and enthusiasm to lead and develop services Undertakes clinical shifts in the Department at the direction of the Clinical Director for Obstetrics and Gynaecology including participation on the on-call/out of hours/weekend rosters Conducts regular clinical reviews of patients at appropriate intervals with doctors in training ensuring that the patient records (including discharge summaries) are accurately up-dated after review of each patient Conducts clinical review and clinical management of patients referred to Outpatient services Supports and liaises with patients, families, colleagues, midwifery, support staff and external agencies to provide coordinated multidisciplinary care Takes a leadership and mentoring role for doctors in training and others within the Department Responsible for covering Colleagues periods of annual leave and short term sickness Education/Training Responsible for Clinical supervision of junior medical staff as a shared responsibility with other consultant colleagues. Active participation in the provision of the departmental teaching program Responsible for carrying out teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required and contributing to Continuing Medical Education and clinical governance initiatives Audit and Research Contributes to departmental research interests in accordance with the Trusts R&D framework. Contributes to the Audit Programme Engages in continuing professional development/education and ensures continuous eligibility for relevant specialist medical registration Participates in relevant clinical governance committees including regular clinical reviews, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and morbidity/mortality reviews as required. Managerial Works in conjunction with clinical and professional colleagues to ensure that the productivity of staff within the specialty is maintained and their job satisfaction is enhanced. This may include involvement in the appraisal process for junior colleagues Undertakes management duties as agreed with the Clinical Director and Head of Service Participates in departmental and other meetings as required to meet Corporate and Service objectives Takes an active role in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of the Trusts Objectives. This may include assisting with discussions regarding service plans and developments with both internal and external agencies Conducts all activities within the contracted level of service and operating plan for the department Exercises professional leadership for all staff working in the specialty

My client based in Billingham is looking for a Reach Truck driver to start immediately on a temp to perm basis.

External in date license is essential!

Duties:

• Driving Reach Trucks.
• Manual handling of products.
• Loading and unloading delivery wagons.
• Basic levels of stock management.
• Handballing stock where required.
• Other duties as and when required.

Shift: Day shift only Monday to Friday
Rate: 12ph
