Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.
Duties: Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, and model development. Design and build modern component-based computer systems, and test and deploy the system. Establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Programming in Java, JavaScript, Spring Framework, and the Angular Web UI Framework to build software application modules; Analyzing complex business requirements, evaluating business processes, and understanding the business functionality to design and develop information systems using Agile and Waterfall methodology; Designing and developing user interface and its UI components for the business requirements using Google Angular scripting language, including Typescript, Hypertext Markup language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and fixing existing user interface issue; Enhancing existing service functionality using Java, Spring, Springboot, feign client, Rest client, Log4J, and Maven, and using Jenkins pipeline for code deployment in ECS, Application Servers, and Web Servers; Designing and developing SQLs for given functionality and verifying using Oracle SQL developer and Toad tool in the service code; Designing and developing unit test cases by leveraging Junit and Mockito framework to validate newly developed features and external rest end point; Monitoring application logs by utilizing Kibana dashboard and ECS and Applications logs; and Performing code review and providing feedback, which is related to coding standards, refactoring application code, and verifying coding related issue in SonarQube, and helping junior team members to resolve their technical issue. 40 hrs./wk.
