This position is located in the Non-Destructive Inspection Laboratory of an Air National Guard Aircraft Maintenance Group, Maintenance Squadron, Fabrication Flight. This is an Air National Guard (ANG) Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification. The primary purpose of this position is to inspect aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis.

This position is located in an Air National Guard Aviation Wing, Maintenance Group. The purpose of this position is to supervise, establish and direct a planned, systematic approach of a quality assurance program designed to provide the maintenance managers confidence that aircraft, aircraft systems, products or supporting processes conform to technical, safety, work load and customer requirements. The position serves as the Supervisor of the Quality Assurance Division. In that capacity, the supervisor plans, implements, and executes a quality assurance program that includes independent surveillance and evaluations of all assigned aircraft, aircraft components, and maintenance personnel. Plans, directs, organizes, and exercises control over Quality Assurance Specialists (non-supervisory employees) assigned utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft to include electronic equipment and systems, manual and automatic flight controls, airframe, landing gear, pneudraulics, and jet engine propulsion, armament, munitions, and associated systems. Applies a comprehensive knowledge of employee relations, management techniques, peer mediation, root cause analysis, trending, and statistical methods. The Role:

• Leads and guide others in quality driven initiatives in the continuous support of Quality Improvement.
• Play an active part in audits ensuring that high standards are maintained.
• Lead the development of Long-term capabilities for the Quality Control department.
• Management of QC Function team staff, ensuring training & development of staff and maintaining headcount in line with budget.

The Person:

• A Degree or similar qualification in a relevant science discipline.
• Proven experience in a QC leadership role within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Excellent knowledge relating to MHRA requirements, audits and the international pharmaceutical industry requirements.

• Ensure that regulated establishments produce a safe product by executing appropriate inspection methods, determining non-compliance with regulatory requirements, documenting noncompliance and initiating enforcement actions, where warranted.
