To ensure the protection and safety of patients at all times, which requires conducting regular health and safety checks and checks that the fire alarms systems are always fully functional. 16. To personally have a full understanding and working knowledge of Optimise Healthcare Group policies and procedures and ensure that all these policies are applied at all times. 17. Promote a positive patient care orientated environment and you are familiar with the company complaints procedure 18. To remain professionally updated and ensure care in all areas is delivered in line with the latest research to promote evidence based practice. 19. To liaise effectively with Head Office Departments, building good working relationships, as required for the good operation of the clinic. 20. To ensure the security and confidentiality of records and information relating to the service. 21. To establish and maintain good relationships with relatives and friends of the patient, purchases, referring agencies, the local community and any other parties with whom Optimise Healthcare has dealings. 22. To report within 24 hours of its occurrence any serious incident which affects the wellbeing of the patient to the Registration Authority and other relevant bodies. 23. To inform the Registration Authority of all deaths within 24 hours, and other relevant notifications that must be made to either CQC or funding bodies. 24. To welcome and be courteous to all visitors to the clinic at all times. 25. As required to attend meetings with Directors/Registered Manager to discuss the overall management of the clinic. 26. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of young persons / vulnerable adults in your care and those who you encounter. 27. Undertake level 3 safeguarding training in adults and children 28. Participate in clinical supervision and discuss any safeguarding concerns 29. Report any safeguarding concerns to your line manager and appropriate local authority. 30. Act as the patients advocate, especially where there is lack of mental capacity, following procedures for Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty 2007

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring timely financial closing, accurate financial statements of subsidiary companies.
• Check and review monthly financial statements and audit schedules prepared by Accounts Executives to ensure accurate and complete reporting, check for validity and accuracy and ensure corrective action is taken.
• Ensure compliance with the Accounting Policies and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Liaise with the external auditors, and ensure that adequate, accurate and timely audit schedules and documents are provided to the auditors.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting Policies and Financial Reporting Standards developments and consider appropriate implementations and provide impact assessments relevant for the subsidiary companies.
• Preparation of subsidiary company's draft audited statutory financial statements for auditor's review.
• Ensure that all statutory requirements of the subsidiary companies are met including Tax and GST.
• Check and review GST compilation and reconciliation for quarterly GST return filing by statutory deadline.
• Internal control and system improvement. Review and recommend enhancement processes to increase efficiency and strengthening of controls, and update Finance SOPs and policies periodically to maintain a strong internal control structure.
• Any other duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Accountacy/ACCA/CIMA or its equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience with a minimum 2 years of audit experience.
• Experience in full spectrum of accounts function.
