The primary purpose of this position is to direct, develop and implement policy programs and procedures for the accurate management of Supply Chain Management (SCM) planning. Serves as the Logistics Management Specialist and provides administrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist.

Major duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Serves as the Logistics Management Specialist with responsibility for direction and control of logistics planning that includes multiple activities and may include geographically separated areas where no supply chain management personnel are assigned.

• Serves as a warranted Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) warranted with unlimited signatory authority as defined in FAR 42.302 and DFARS 242.302.
• Responsible for contract administration of contractors involved in the production of one or more major defense systems (MDSs) or major subsystem, or an ACO who maintains cognizance over a series of complex contracts, grants and other transactions.
• Provides initial data to the responsible supervisor concerning performance, commendation, future work plans, and further training and development needs of team members.
• Contracts administered may have complex short or long-term cost, incentive, re-determinable, flexibly priced, and complex firm fixed-price type contracts.

• Establishes and negotiates government position, and reviews contractor’s practices and proposal pertaining to government contracts.

• You will troubleshoot repairs, modify, and test a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and air conditioning aviation ground support units.
• You will disassemble various systems and components of Aviation Ground Support Equipment and replaces or repairs necessary parts such as bearings, ignition units, magnate units, steering systems and similar assemblies.
• You will repair, align, inspect and test various systems, such as power drives, transmissions, clutches, hydraulic actuators, pumps, valves and control systems.
• You will remove and replace major components such as engines (diesel and gas), generators, and jet start engines.

• You will remove, repair, overhaul, and provide installation, alignment, troubleshooting, modifying, and testing of Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Rapid Securing Device and components.
• You will provide removal and reinstallation of various mechanical components in the shop and can include removal and installation on board naval ships pier side and in dry-dock.
• You will identify, tag, and inspect piping systems, connections, foundations, fasteners and other parts for reinstallation or replacement.
• You will clean, inspect, and perform repairs or overhauls on these mechanical components and system sub-assemblies
• You will reassembled following established work procedures and appropriate technical manuals.

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) SCI & Rehab Unit is accountable to the Nurse Manager (NM)/designee of the SCI & Rehab Unit, the Chief Nurse of Surgery & Rehabilitation, the Deputy Associate Director for Patient Care Services and ultimately, to the Associate Director of Patient Care Services (ADPCS).


Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. May require rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
