We are looking for a Senior NetOps Engineer to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital, to assist in the design of Infrastructure services in collaboration with Architecture and Engineering principles.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• The ability to design, implement, administer, and support infrastructure technologies, solutions and services such as: AWS, Azure and OCI
• Ensures that the right actions are taken to investigate, resolve and anticipate Network problems.
• Takes accountability of issues that occur and is proactive in searching for potential problems.
• Significant experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code, CI/CD pipelines. Gitlab, Ansible, Python, Terraform.

You and your role

As a Senior NetOps Engineer you will have the ongoing responsibility for the full range of products that make up Network Services.

The role will involve creating and developing our DevOps/ NetOps culture in the team as we transition to new ways of working.

Working in collaboration with a range of internal/external partners, stakeholders and customers you will ensure the operational stability, robustness, resilience, availability, and quality of DWP Networks.

You will actively manage the work backlog and develop reliability improvements as well as leading initiatives to develop the automation of low-value tasks balanced against project delivery demands.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £68,517.

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth over £16,000 per year.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

We are recruiting a Senior Support Worker for our supported living and outreach service in Blackpool which provides person centred support to adults with learning disabilities, some of whom have autism spectrum conditions and complex needs.




We are looking for an experienced carer to help lead a team of staff and provide care and support to individuals at our Blackpool service. This is a great opportunity to take on a leadership role, receiving ongoing training to help you further your personal and professional development.




Your role as Senior Support Worker will include:

Providing respectful personal care, emotional and practical support to service users
Collaborating with service users, families and the multi-disciplinary team to maximise service user outcomes
Implementing Creative Support principles, policies, procedures and guidelines and ensuring that the service fulfils CQC requirements
Supervising and supporting staff to best meet service user needs and preferences

Experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities is essential for this Senior Support Worker role. A clean valid driving licence and access to a car is desirable for this role but not essential.




You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings and weekends.
