As part of the administration team, provide a central administration base to facilitate the organisation and collection of all necessary data within guidelines provided. Deal with enquiries from service users over the telephone, wanting to change appointments or requesting information. The school is a large complex needs setting in the Wolverhampton area which supports students with a wide range of complex medical and physical needs. The school supports primary aged students from 4+.
In a purpose-built school, they're fully equipped with the best facilities available. With a team of specialist staff including nurses and personal care assistants, your role will be to support within the classroom. The classes usually have a maximum of 10 pupils to a class with at least one teacher and 3 TAs. Your role will be an additional support within the classroom.
Communication for these types of pupils is limited, so someone with knowledge of both Makaton and PECs would be advantageous.
