Job Brief:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to assist our finance team, specifically in the claims management area. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. The intern will play a key role in supporting the team by analyzing, processing, and reporting on financial claims, ensuring accuracy, and helping improve processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing, verifying, and processing financial claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Support in the preparation and organization of claims-related documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies in claims submissions.
• Help maintain updated records of claims in the system and assist in claims-related data entry and tracking.
• Contribute to claims analysis and reporting, providing insights on trends and improvements.
• Assist with general finance-related tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of financial principles and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools; familiarity with accounting or financial software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must be still in study program for Diploma/Degree or equivalent, in the course of Finance/Accounting/Management/Business or equivalent.

• Work with the Operations team to provide seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.
• Process customer's orders/ inquiries timely and accurately.
• communicate discrepancies/ issues to Manager when necessary.
• Proactively alert 3PLs and customers in the event any service deviation from standard transport mapping.
• Responsible and familiarise with track and trace systems.
• Continuous update thtough communication channels on current status from 3PLs.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Job Scope:

• Support Group Sustainability in preparation of Annual Sustainability Report (e.g data and information collection, analysis and audit).
• Assist with the facilitation of sustainability events, workshops and other
• Conduct desktop research (e.g environmental, social and governance issues).
• Conduct research, gather and present data and sustainability-related topics such as new sustainability initiatives
• Support the Group Sustainability in various ad-hoc tasks as needed, which may include attending meetings, and preparing presentation materials.
• Support the preparation and execution of internal and external engagement events with event coordination & social media content.
