About The Role:
The Logistics Specialist ensures control and execution of the local Warehouse and Distribution activities. The Logistics Specialist is responsible / accountable to:

• Execution of effective local logistic services;
• Identifying opportunities in the end to end supply chain to reduce waste, minimize cost and work towards a more customer-driven supply chain.

Goals and Key Accountabilities:

The Logistics Specialist ensures the operational execution of local logistics services (transport and warehouses). He is responsible to guarantee on time deliveries at the best cost.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:

1. Deliver Stock Accuracy level combined with stock target and costs
2. Weekly transportation planning and Transport arrangement (Inbound and Outbound for Shipment from/to factories, warehouses, customers)
3. Stock Transfer and Delivery Orders creation (between JDE plants)
4. Support Customer Service with claim management (main contact for LSP/Transportation companies)
5. Post Goods Receipt, Post Goods Issue and Scrapping execution in  in SAP
6. Stock Management (movements, status change, ageing, damage handling etc)
7. Monitor stock in transit
8. Inventory Count execution (physically and systematically), route cause analysis of results
9. Shipping and Picking documents preparation (if applicable)
10. Pallet Management
11. Packaging Materials Stock Management and Replenishment
12. Weekly KPI Reporting (for example: On Time In Full; Stock Accuracy; Stock Levels; Financial Accruals; other applicable KPIs and Reports)
13. Further involvement into Local and Global initiatives to define and execute on improvements on service, stock and cost savings.

This position involves overseeing the logistics of supplies change management to optimize efficiency and productivity, while also maintaining cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and optimizing a supply chain logistics network.
• Planning, procuring, and coordinating the movement of products from suppliers to end users.
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers and service providers.
• Auditing manufacturing transactions and maintaining quality standards.
• Communicating with warehouse staff and coordinating with co-packers and ingredient suppliers.
• Execute other ad-hoc duties as required

Key Requirement

• Minimum Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,
• Computer-literacy
• Ability to communicate with English-speaking parties
• Ability to assist in cold room on ad-hoc basis (for instance, for checks, stock-take), as required
• Two years of relevant work experience is advantageous
• Work: Pandan Loop, 5.5-day work week. 730am – 430pm / 730am – 1130am

- Develop and implement supply chain and logistics strategy to facilitate the cost-effective flow of goods receiving from suppliers, strong, packing to customers

- Direct all supply and logistics policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the efficiency, quality assurance, timeliness and cost effectiveness of the company

- Activities may include but not limited to: quality assurance and control, production planning, ensure smooth end-to-end operations, inventory data accuracy, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport and distribution

- Responsible for all aspects of the warehouse functions, routine cycle counts, monthly stock takes, and leads operational improvements and drives operational outcomes

- To manage the level of inventory considering the shelf life of the products, implement FIFO thus reduce wastages

- Manage and develop process control on storage and deliveries. Work co-operate with vendors and various internal cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Sales & Accounts) to fulfil all daily transaction requirements

- Lead, direct and develop staff

-Experience in managing a big team preferred

-5 years relevant managerial experience in food manufacturing preferred
