You will be responsible for:
-Feeding into and implementing communication plans that align with the organisation's objectives.

We are looking for the right person to lead in Creative Media. They will be enthusiastic and confident in areas such as photography and filmmaking, have a relevant qualification and can demonstrate that they have a track record in using these technologies. Working as part of small team, the successful candidate will support the development of new and innovative ways to launch new events and generate PR opportunities.

We're looking for somebody upbeat with a genuine interest in charity work & fundraising, coupled with the strong administration skills required as part of this role.

Duties include:

• Working with the PR & Communications director to respond to press enquiries
• Manage media and coverage through internal and external sources
• Draft press releases with the PR team, inputting them on the charity website
• Draft blog content, emails & social media content
• Liaising with social media connections and partner charities
• Update the media page on the charity website, including specific areas of fundraising and awareness
• Create invites and pack merchandise for events
• Control email signatures and phone content in line with charity brand guidelines

Due to the nature of the charity and its mission, all paid staff are expected to take part in fundraising events during weekends throughout the year. Time in lieu is given, so this opportunity would suit somebody who enjoys raising awareness & money for charity!

The Internal Communications Executive is responsible for supporting the Internal communications Manager to drive the engagement of our teams across the business, through key business activities.
The role holder will provide support across the business to ensure communications align with wider business strategies. A key part of this role will be to oversee communications across a variety of offline and online channels, as well as working on projects to evolve content and drive colleague engagement.

A typical day in this role includes:
• Liaising with different departments of the business, supporting the Internal Comms Executive and Digital Content Lead to create content and communications that engage our audiences

About the role
Sitting within the Communications Team, with a dotted line into the Children's Additional Needs and Disabilities Service, you will play a key role in the production of high-quality and strategic communications to key stakeholders and partners, including:

• Working with strategy leaders and the CFLL communications team to plan a strategic calendar of key communications opportunities and milestones
• Drafting and sharing regular updates to parents/carers, schools and settings, partners and other key audiences related to the Additional Needs and Disabilities Strategy and related workstreams, including a termly newsletter

The Senior Communications Officer will play a vital role in supporting the development and delivery of integrated communications campaigns, creating content for both internal and external communications channels. Alongside this, there will be the opportunity to get involved in the day to day running of a busy NHS press office, building relationships with both local, regional and national journalists.
