As our Accounting and Finance Manager, you will be at the heart of core financial, accounting, and operational “engine”, working closely with the General Partners to drive the firm’s success. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage complex financial and operational tasks as well as multiple stakeholders. This role is more than just numbers – it is about elevating how we operates as an investment firm and driving our mission forward. Specifically, you will:

Lead accounting and financial strategy and operations (40%)

• Take ownership of our day-to-day financial and accounting operations, including payroll, invoicing, capital activities, and other transactions, ensuring compliance with our mission and policies
• Shape the firm’s financials and guide key business decisions by preparing and monitoring the firm’s budget, financial statements, and forecasts
• Partner with our service providers to ensure seamless annual audits, tax filings, and other essential activities

Drive data processes and reporting (30%)

• Work closely with our portfolio companies and internal teams to gather and analyze portfolio’s financial and operational data to drive our portfolio support strategies
• Prepare and deliver financial statements and other reports for our investors and other stakeholders, providing critical insights on the firm’s activities and the impact of our investments

Champion compliance and risk management (20%)

• Lead our compliance efforts, ensuring we meet investor commitments and adhere to internal policies and relevant regulations
• Establish and implement effective policies and processes related to compliance and risk management (e.g. business continuity, cybersecurity and data protection, etc.)

Support key operations (10%)

• Play a key role in sourcing and evaluating vendors and suppliers, ensuring our
• partners with the best in the industry
• Support other ad-hoc operational activities to contribute to the firm’s ongoing development

Must-haves

• 5+ years of work experience in accounting and audit, with experience as an Accounting or Finance Manager/Assistant Manager
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and tax regulations and procedures
• Experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and external reports
• Strong communication skills with advanced English proficiency (both written and verbal)
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship in all tasks and documentation
• Passion for technology and innovation

It is a plus if you have

• Experience in the venture capital or private equity industry, especially as a fund administrator or fund controller
• Knowledge of US GAAP and U.S. tax obligations
• Familiarity with investor reporting and investor relations

• Keep track and book accounting entries for payments to vendors, and assets management.
• File documents (contracts, invoices…) once the process is done.

1. Accounting tasks

• Support in creating request to issue output invoices for payment on behalf, asset liquidity, other income, etc.
• Support end-users on accounting related processes (payment, vendor creation, fixed assets, stock taking, tax invoice handling, etc.) 
• Support in having accounting documents signed & stamped
• Support in archiving and retrieving of accounting documents
• Support in preparation of data and documents for Internal and External audit, Tax inspection, Customs audit purposes (if any)

2. Controlling tasks

• Prepare data consolidation for weekly performance report (sales, net working capital, etc.)
• Prepare monthly P&L analysis of company result
• Support in service recharging among Bosch entities
• Assist CFO with ad hoc financial topics (audit/tax/investment/macro reports, etc.)

3. Ad hoc tasks to support department

Daily Tasks

• Daily prepare bank payment orders and update into the accounting system.
• Daily check & record bank transactions, including credit notes, debit notes, loans, FX deals, loan interest charges…
• Daily reconcile bank accounts with bank statements.
• Monitor & record payment requests for costs associated with business operating activities.
• Monitor AR/AP aging report and highlight if any issues.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Month-end Tasks

• Analyze the monthly expenses and perform necessary accrual transactions, cost allocations to ensure incurred costs/expenses during the month fully captured.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts according to reconciliation schedule set.
• Prepare VAT report.

About the Role:

This position will support financial accounting, audit work of Vietnam, report directly to the chief accountant. This position will be trained in practical knowledge of accounting, tax, auditing, as well as soft skills necessary for the job. An important factor for this position is to have a good working attitude and a basic knowledge of tax accounting in Vietnam.

What will you need:

• 4th year student  from University in Accounting or Auditing background

A/ What you will be doing:

You will be a member of the Finance, Operation, and Compliance team and be responsible for the following tasks:

1/ Administration: (About 60-70% workload)

• Manage office supplies, amenities, catering requests, and service to employees.
• Ensure the office is well organized, clean, and neat.
• Execute the company policies of employee care and benefits (welcome gifts, gifts for life events, gifts for work anniversaries, annual health check-ups, private insurance, parking tickets, etc.).
• Support in organizing teambuilding activities.
• Manage employee attendance and types of leaves as per the company's regulations and do accurate monthly attendance reports for salary payments.
• Be responsible for reception and administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and forwarding them to related people if necessary, receiving and delivering company letters or packages, and supporting company guests…
• Make simple periodical government reports.
• Other low-complexity tasks include supporting other business units with data entry if ever needed.

2/ Finance and accounting: (About 30-40% workload)

• Receive and process accounting documents and payment requests (Up to 15 requests/week).
• Be responsible for reconciling payable and receivable accounts (1 customer - our mother company with 1 invoice/month and 5 key suppliers with about 3 -10 invoices/month).
• Book all accounting entries in the accounting system (e.g., Misa). (Up to 150 entries/month).
• Make monthly tax declarations.
• Other tasks assigned.

Note: Our financial activities are mostly internal; we don’t do business in Vietnam and mostly serve our parent company in Switzerland.
