Scope of assignment

• Follow company procedures for expense and payment process;
• Support Accounting team in preparing accounting books and tax reports, arranging, filing, and archiving accounting documents;
• Assist in fixed asset management including physical counting, tagging, system maintenance and preparation of documents;
• Assist in implementing company’s projects like testing new systems and process flows;
• Support Accounting team in working with auditors and tax consultants, preparing data and documents for statutory audit, tax review and/or tax inspection (if any); and
• Other ad-hoc assignments required by the supervisor.

Accounting Intern is assigned to the following tasks: 

• Inventory Count & Reconciliation

As our Accounting Intern, you will get a chance to handle the financial record, reconcile the data and maintain supporting documents

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all accounting records have been recorded correctly and in timely manner
• Prepare and create records of some transaction when necessary
• Reconciliation all account to produce Financial Statement
• Maintain all supporting documents, including to support audit process

• Preferably fresh graduate or student with less of regular class at campus
• Mandatory can working (hybrid) at Jakarta office and fully intern for 6 months
• Graduated from Accounting, Finance of related field
• Proficiency in Excel or Spreadsheet (SUM IF, PIVOT and other)
• Familiar with Accounting Principles and Journaling
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
• Quick to collaborate and coordinate with team members

About the Role:

This position will support financial accounting, audit work of Vietnam, report directly to the chief accountant. This position will be trained in practical knowledge of accounting, tax, auditing, as well as soft skills necessary for the job. An important factor for this position is to have a good working attitude and a basic knowledge of tax accounting in Vietnam.

What will you do:

• Supporting accounting and tax job in VN
• Checking payment documents, tracking invoice and output contract and preparing relevant document
• Working with the bank for updating, changing bank document
• Supporting final audit job

What will you need:

• 4th year student  from University in Accounting or Auditing background
• Having good knowledge of accounting and tax
• Good work attitude, Honest, high sense of responsibility, IFRS knowledge (nice to have)
• English reading & writing
• Should commitment for working 6 months full time

At INDICO, we are looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our team. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in various accounting activities and help develop your skills in financial analysis, record-keeping, and financial reporting. As an Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our accounting team, assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting financial activities.

What you will do but not limited to:

• Perform data entry and maintain accounting records and files.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Help with accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Support the preparation of tax documents and filings.
• Assist in conducting financial analysis and research.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.

• Diploma and/or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Fresh graduate are welcome to Apply.
• Has experience in using SAP will be a plus point
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.

A/ What you will be doing:

You will be a member of the Finance, Operation, and Compliance team and be responsible for the following tasks:

1/ Administration: (About 60-70% workload)

• Manage office supplies, amenities, catering requests, and service to employees.
• Ensure the office is well organized, clean, and neat.
• Execute the company policies of employee care and benefits (welcome gifts, gifts for life events, gifts for work anniversaries, annual health check-ups, private insurance, parking tickets, etc.).
• Support in organizing teambuilding activities.
• Manage employee attendance and types of leaves as per the company's regulations and do accurate monthly attendance reports for salary payments.
• Be responsible for reception and administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and forwarding them to related people if necessary, receiving and delivering company letters or packages, and supporting company guests…
• Make simple periodical government reports.
• Other low-complexity tasks include supporting other business units with data entry if ever needed.

2/ Finance and accounting: (About 30-40% workload)

• Receive and process accounting documents and payment requests (Up to 15 requests/week).
• Be responsible for reconciling payable and receivable accounts (1 customer - our mother company with 1 invoice/month and 5 key suppliers with about 3 -10 invoices/month).
• Book all accounting entries in the accounting system (e.g., Misa). (Up to 150 entries/month).
• Make monthly tax declarations.
• Other tasks assigned.

Note: Our financial activities are mostly internal; we don’t do business in Vietnam and mostly serve our parent company in Switzerland.
