You will partner with government departments, local employers, non-profits, and voluntary groups, forming project teams to deliver effective communications for various initiatives.

The Role

- Lead communications and engagement for one directorate within the organisation.
Work with senior members of the Communications & Marketing team to craft a seamless narrative.

- Develop and deliver timely and budget-conscious communications and engagement activities.

- Spearhead the creation and execution of impactful communications to support client initiatives and Metro Mayoral priorities.

- Monitor the effectiveness of Communications and Engagement strategies to ensure value for money.

Qualifications and Knowledge

- Educated to degree level or equivalent.

- Recognised professional qualification (e.g., CIPR or CIM diploma), or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through significant demonstrable experience in a directly related field.
