Your new role
Your new role will see you working across multiple mechanical and HVAC designs across the above-mentioned sectors.
This consultancy is looking for an engineer who wants to invest in their vocation, so your role will not only include the completion of designs but also mentoring junior staff, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, attending site visits and running jobs.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have a minimum of 6 years' UK Mechanical Building Services experience, have an ambition to grow within your career and have a forward-looking attitude towards not only your development but those around you. You must be familiar with standard design software and RIBA 1-4.

This firm has a supportive team culture across its offices and business lines and boasts a broad range of clients across many varied industries, making the work on offer fascinating for the successful Tax and Accounts Senior based in their Preston office.
Your new role
As the new Tax and Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for completing corporate, personal and partnership tax returns for a varied industry client base. You will also produce year-end tax returns and accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will also prepare VAT returns to be reviewed by the senior member of the tax and accounts team.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Tax and Accounts Senior will ideally be AAT or ATT qualified with experience of working in tax and accounting in an established accountancy firm. Study support is on offer if you are not qualified.Good working knowledge of accounting programmes such as Sage, Zero and CCH Central would be beneficial.
A desire to work well in a team environment and to engage with clients is a must.

This emergency services organisation seeks to deliver prevention, protection, and emergency response services; using their trusted position in the community to influence the wider safety of people and working in partnership with other organisations where we have shared objectives. They are seeking a permanent EA to support a number of directors. Currently, there a 3 other EAs within this office.
Your new role
The success will be the Executive Assistant to the Director of Service Delivery or the Director of Strategy and Planning, and to the Area Managers within that Directorate, is to contribute to the work of the services by providing a range of high quality administration and secretarial duties. In addition, working as part of the Secretarial Team and as a member of the Executive Board Management Team. Elements of the role will include:

• Utilising Microsoft Packages including diary management, producing reports and minute taking.
• Using advanced typing / word processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to prioritise and maintain organisation for multiple people.
• Minute taking at management meetings.
• Shorthand is desirable.

What you'll need to succeed

• The successful candidate must hold a current driving licence and a car that meets the standards of the emergency services.
• Be able to attend evening and weekend meetings/events as required.
• Workload management and planning to balance the needs of the Principal Officers and Senior Officers.
• Liaising with staff in other organisations and undertake special projects as required.
• Use of Excel and provision of statistics when required.
• Dealing with emails, enquiries and messages when necessary, re-direction, attachment of previous papers and making enquiries where necessary.
• Dealing with confidential correspondence, with researching files, preparing reports and involvement with restricted information where required.
• Arranging accomodation for meetings, attendance at meetings, agenda preparation, minute taking and arranging travel accomodation and reservations.
• Proactively dealing with telephone and personal enquiries.
• Undertaking administrative and secretarial work.
• Experience working within Senior Management.
• Experience of producing accurate and concise minutes at meetings.
