This position is located in the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). DSCA is responsible for planning, coordinating, administering, and supervising Department of Defense (DOD) programs for transfer of defense articles, services, and technology, by sale or grant to foreign governments and international organizations.
As the Deputy Director- DSCA, your duties will include:
- Acts for the Director in carrying out all responsibilities of for the Agency.
- Works with foreign government discussions and negotiations involving sensitive international security objectives and issues.
- Maintains executive level contacts with Department of State and other elements of the Executive Branch.
- Represents Department of Defense on security assistance matters with Congress, U.S. Industry at the corporate level and with military/civilian off ices of foreign governments.
