Company client currently working with an insurance client in London recruiting for a Credit Controller on a 12 month FTC. You would be joining a busy team with specific responsibility for the allocation and clearance of current and legacy ages debt.
The successful professional would have involvement in:
* Investigating daily settlements received from brokers in order to allocate funds accurately.
* Working closely with the Technical Operations team.
* Chase debt (via telephone, email and meetings).
* Send out statements on a monthly basis to brokers to agree outstanding ledger and balances.
* Manage broker portfolio.

* A minimum of 2 years Credit Control experience.

Company client partnered with an international general insurance and reinsurance group in their search for a Senior Cyber Security Advisor.
The role pays up to £90,000 basic salary excluding bonuses, pension and extra benefits - and is based in the City on a hybrid basis.
Our client's team provides significant planning, project management and internal and external consulting services to the broader insurance ecosystem.
Our client seeks a Financial Services (ideally Insurance) savvy Cyber Security hire with experience of robust consultancy skills.
This hire will predominantly:-
* Provide technical IT security insight to underwriting team;
* Assist in creation of roadmaps to deliver change in the Cyber class of business when strategic change or direction is required;
* Represent the business at appropriate industry committees and conferences;
* Support as the central point of contact for all major industry Cyber incidents;
* Work with third parties to review and assess appropriate levels of security infrastructure that our clients should maintain;

* Technical input to help inform Cyber exposure management and modelling.
It is likely the hire will carry a number of the below desirable experiences:-

Pay and Benefits
This role has an OTE of £60,000 which is not capped but highly achievable, top performers are earning in excess of £65,000, plus a brand-new company car.

Hours of Work are Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm, Saturday 8.30am - 5pm, Sunday & Bank Holidays 10am - 4pm (on a rota basis of approx. 1 in 3) with a day off in lieu every week for working Saturday.

Company client currently working with a global reinsurance client in London on a permanent position due to business expansion for a Senior Reinsurance Accountant.
I am looking to speak with professionals from either practice or industry with a strong understanding of the insurance/reinsurance industry. As mentioned above this is a brand new role for a new function with our client and would be good for a professional that would like to build something from the ground up.
Responsibilities below (not limited to):
* Ownership of the Reinsurance Finance Close plan and reporting up to the general Finance Close Manager.
* Ownership of all Reinsurance Finance Interfaces as well as finance inputs for upstream and downstream interfaces into and out of the Reinsurance platform.
* Ownership of the Reinsurance System Chart of accounts.
* Preparation and review of the Reinsurance to GL reconciliations.
* Preparation of Subledger Reinsurance Journals including earnings.
* Preparation of all out of subledger system Reinsurance Journals (G/L journals).
* Preparation of Reinsurance Analytical Reviews.
* Respond to all Reinsurance Audit Queries related to the RI finance processes including account reconciliations.
* Assisting with the finance responsibilities linked to the RI migration project such as conversion reconciliations, balance sheet remediation, and establishing and running the new finance close process.
To be considered for this role:
* You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Have a knowledge and strong understanding of an insurance P&L.
* Knowledge of either Solvency II or IFRS 17.
* Have used one of the listed systems - Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP and DocuSign.
