The primary purpose of this position is oversee and coordinate administrative, financial, and operational management and support services for the Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS) and to serve as an advisor to the management staff on administrative policy and procedural matters.
Duties performed:
- Recommending program improvements and overseeing the development of policies and procedures in areas of property; space management; information technology; procurement and contracting; and budgeting and financial management.
- Analyzing changes in organizational needs and recommending solutions.
- Assisting with design, layout, illustration, or other services related to organizational publications, periodicals, briefing charts, and reference materials.
- Arranging travel for personnel and ensuring expenses are made in accordance with agency policy and Federal Travel Regulations.
- Preparing and conducting budgetary briefings to provide information to management officials.
- Tracking agency budgetary resources and forecasting agency expenditures.
