Working as the Technical Delivery Manager on an initial 15 month fixed term contract, you’ll have accountability for all aspects of release delivery, ensuring smooth transition and acceptance into the Commercial Operating environment and will play a key role in the leadership of the BluePrint Programme.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing the end-to-end delivery of workstreams
Documenting risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies across the team
Working with the programme team, technical build and testing teams to build out the requirements of agreed scope
Managing stakeholders across the programme, related to the business, UKandI teams, Group and third parties
Liaising with the environments and testing managers to ensure all technical requirements are understood to enable end to end delivery
Working with product owners to ensure there is a clear and managed product roadmap and backlog
Ensuring all required Project deliverables/artefacts are produced and signed off in line with the project plan

Ensure project plans are well-organized and comply with project management framework.

The role of an Actuarial Reporting Manager is of great importance within AXA UK and requires someone with the ability to work well with key stakeholders and ensure key project timescales for completion of finance reporting to be met. As an Actuarial Reporting Manager, within the actuarial workstream you’ll be a leader in delivery of the actuarial aspects of the AXA UK IFRS17 and SII actuarial reporting requirements. This includes updating and running of standards, procedures and tools required within projects.
You’ll make incremental improvements to processes to ensure consistency across the Actuarial team. You’ll be a clear communicator and take a timely and effective approach with the appropriate audience.

What you’ll be doing:

Work with planning to improve and lead delivery of actuarial IFRS17 support for plan and forecast.
Provide ongoing development of communication and training for actuarial reserving teams and key stakeholders on IFRS 17 requirements and solutions, on project progress and deliverables.
Develop innovative improvements and opportunities, to align the actuarial reserving and booking activities under IFRS 17 and Solvency II.
Lead regular production of IFRS17 reserves, KPIs and regular reports, liaising with Finance, AXA Group, Capital Modelling, and other stakeholders to ensure Actuarial requirements are met.
Help to embed cross-team activities within a business as usual environment by providing a link and identify efficiency savings between the IFRS17 and Solvency II team.
Undertake and provide solutions for emerging reporting requirements.
Work with auditors for resolving any queries related to SII and IFRS17.
Independently lead stakeholder engagement including peers within Finance, Auditors, Group

Our AXA Commercial Risk team are a first line risk function fully embedded in the business. As Enterprise Risk Manager, your expertise and knowledge will support, direct and influence the Commercial business’ senior managers and their teams. It’s an exciting time to join our new Strategic Partnerships Office (“SPO”) here at AXA UK as a Commercial and Contracts Manager (“CandCM”). We have significant investment planned in all UKandI businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll support in sourcing, commercial and contracting matters in relation to a select portfolio of AXA’s largest and most strategic third party supplier partners (“Partners”). Such Partners services to AXA’s businesses currently span the provision of an array of IT and Professional services. The customers of those services are centred up on the major business units of AXA UK and Ireland.
You’ll be joining AXA at an optimal time as the department is looking to take-on a wider portfolio of Partners. As a CandCM, you’ll need to be adaptable as well as instrumental in supporting the growth of the SPO team and its’ work with a view to nurturing profitable relationships between AXA’s businesses and its Partners over the years to come. In time, the role will broaden as the SPO gathers momentum in the months/years ahead and new Partners need to be effectively managed.
The successful candidate will need to be mindful of risk and control frameworks that apply to financial services companies like AXA. The CandCM will be required to preside over commercial and contractual initiatives with colleagues from AXA’s Risk, Security, Data Protection, Legal, Audit, Procurement and IT teams. Such collaboration will help in maintaining day-to-day understanding of key contractual requirements and manage risks to AXA and its customers.

What you’ll be doing:

For all partnerships in the remit of the SPO and in collaboration with the departmental Strategic Partnership Managers who are the principle liaisons with their assigned Partners(s), you’ll;
Apply learnings from one Partner relationship to another, as appropriate and in the broader spirit of continuous improvement
Support in fostering a one-team approach between the teams of AXA and its Partners;
Be the voice of the Supplier/Partners as appropriate within AXA, build and sustain relationships across AXA Group
Support the AXA business teams in clearly, consistently and sensitively expressing what is needed of the Partner teams, in contract and with a view to determining the appropriate commercial arrangements and models (simple or complex) that need to be developed and contracted for
For SPO Partners, familiarise with the supply framework contract terms along with pertinent commercial mechanisms agreed within; becoming capable of being a contractual go-to reference point
Using agreed templates, competently draft and edit contracts of supply with AXA’s Partners
Negotiate, edit, risk assess and manage through to sign-off, new supply contracts with Partners in compliance with AXA’s latest Procurement and Risk Policies
Track and report on contracting pipeline and contract delivery progress
Contribute to strategies designed to enhance value for money, negate inflationary risk and increase Partner delivery efficiency
Work with the Partner(s) to drive agreed Carbon efficiency initiatives in conjunction with AXA’s Digital Sustainability goals
