How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?
As our new Engineer Manager, you’ll be a vital part of the Energy and Industrial WA team. Your role will include:
Determining, implementing and monitoring engineering strategies, policies and plans
Interpreting plans, drawings and specifications, and providing advice on engineering methods and procedures to achieve construction and production requirements
Establishing project schedules and budgets
Ensuring conformity with specifications and plans, and with laws, regulations and safety standards
Ensuring engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness and performance are observed
Overseeing maintenance requirements to optimise efficiency
Liaising with marketing, research and manufacturing managers regarding engineering aspects of new construction and product design
May contribute to research and development projects

What are we looking for from you?
You’ll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future.
We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.
As well as experience in a similar Engineer Management role. Specifically:
Bachelor’s degree or Masters in mechanical engineering
Registered Professional Engineer or equivalent with recognised professional body
Bulk Materials handling experience and machine knowledge from feasibility to implementation phase. I.e., Stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders, rotary car dumpers
Experience in project Construction and Commissioning and project Operational readiness
Able to implement and embed standards and processes to effect delivery of engineering excellence.
Good knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation
Current knowledge of industry and technology development within area of expertise
Expert in Engineering excellence and project management skills
Skilled in mediation and dispute resolution
Financial and commercial awareness
