About the Project Management Intern Role:

As a Project Management Intern at AECOM, you will have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects across a wide array of sectors. These include education, health care, sports facilities, transport, renewables, and defence to name but a few, for both public and private sector clients.

As an Intern you will assist the Project Management team to drive projects forward and ensure that our clients achieve the assets that their business function requires. This involves working at all stages of the project from initial concept right through to construction and operation of the asset.

The Project Management team is a key interface between the client, design team, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.​

About the Civil Engineering Intern Role:

We are looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Water Team. The team delivers a range of projects, and you will be involved in our Multi-modal Transport, Three Waters, and Asset Engineering disciplines. Broadly the responsibilities will include assisting our Senior Engineers in civil design, and specifications for our projects, site supervision, health, and safety requirements, preparing quotes and preparing information for proposals, and managing project resources. Our local projects are spread across Australia.

Interns will learn and grow into interest areas aligned with the AECOM business to become a capable technical team member that is key to our delivery teams. It also involves providing engineering services to our clients across the whole spectrum of a project lifecycle – from ideation through to construction and operation. Engineers are key to understanding the technical problems and working with the team to design great solutions for our projects that can be delivered in the real world.

About the Mechanical Engineering Intern Role:

Joining our dynamic, consulting environment, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of industrial, resources and mining projects with the ability to support the generation of detailed designs from concept through to execution.

At AECOM, our mechanical team immensely influences outcomes with our clients across the areas of industrial process, power generation, renewable energy, and future fuels.

As an Intern, your tasks may include:

• Exposure to projects that vary from concept studies to detailed design.
• Supporting Engineers with design documentation and construction phase technical support for new-build.
