Job Purpose
The Director of Marketing - Dining, Asia is responsible of all Dining Division marketing efforts across Asia. The Marketing Director is also responsible for maintaining and supporting the general operating philosophies and policies of Sunset Hospitality Dining Division as well as assisting other departments as necessary to achieve the overall mission of the brands.
2. Principal Accountabilities
2.1 Comprehend and understand operations and general business policies and procedures of the Group so that such policies and procedures can be supported through Marketing efforts.
2.2 Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
2.3 Support all operations and general business policies of Sunset Hospitality Group when interacting with managers and employees
2.4 Develop appropriate creative and implementation strategies for building Sunset Hospitality Group brand image within its industry, soliciting appropriate input from management
2.5 Develop and implement appropriate strategies for generating effective public relations exposure
2.6 Develop and submit as requested detailed budgets for the marketing department
2.7 Oversees the management of the marketing budget on a day to day basis
2.8 Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
2.9 Provide recommendations to operations and their managers for improving the quality of the stores marketing programs while maintaining a positive relationship with them at all times.
2.10 Develop and manage relationships with external organizations (e.g., advertising, and public relations agencies, market research firms, etc.) as necessary to assist with the development and implementation of Sunset Hospitality Group marketing efforts in a cost efficient and results oriented manner toward the achievement of predetermined goals.
2.11 Track and follow up customer service and the respond to all telephone and e-mail messages from all customers on timely basis
2.12 Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;
2.13 Preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
2.14 Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
2.15 Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
2.16 Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
2.17 Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
2.18 Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
2.19 Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned
