The Global Fund Accounting Tactical Opportunities Finance and Accounting group is responsible for the fund performance reporting and all aspects of accounting related to Blackstone Tactical Opportunities. The group mainly provides support to the front office professionals, addressing a variety of investor relations matters, and works with business development on new funds and products. Additionally, the team supports Blackstone’s internal marketing group and primarily deals with statistical and performance related data.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with reviewing daily cash and investment activity
- Monitoring and reporting on credit facility activity
- Preparing capital drawdowns
- Preparing distributions
- Reviewing waterfall calculations
- Reviewing management fee calculations and billing statements
- Preparing quarterly and audited annual reports, including financial footnotes
- Assisting in reviewing quarterly capital account statements
- Working with technology teams to improve system functionality and validate enhancements
- Liaising with investors
- Reading and interpreting LPAs
- Assisting in onboarding of new funds
- Working with internal valuation team to ensure data completeness
- Working with the tax compliance team to ensure accurate investor reporting.
- Reviewing fund external compliance deliverables, such as Form PF and AIFMD
- Assisting with special projects and internal ad hoc requests
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate would have a commitment to excellence in their work, strong time management skills, and a desire to learn.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA (preferred, not required)
- 4+ years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a dynamic professional environment and handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across multiple levels, functions, and locations
- Effectively work and communicate with members of the team to ensure established deadlines are being met in an efficient, accurate, and thorough manner
- Desire to implement process improvement opportunities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- Investran knowledge (preferred, not required)

Expected annual base salary range:
$105,000 - $140,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
