The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Non-Intrusive Inspection System (NIIS) Field Service Technician,  in support of the IBD-SS
program’s CENTCOM and Horn of Africa areas of operations. The Field Service Technician will perform maintenance,
training, and work closely with military customers. This position desires an individual who has experience performing
mechanical and electronics, on both the radiation and Backscatter technology systems as well as skills performing
installs, de-installs, testing systems and components, and performing Preventive Maintenance actions on a variety of
systems belonging to the Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems. The successful candidate may be assigned supervisor duties
to manage the day-to-day operations of their area or operations and or other technicians. OCONUS travel will be required
to other OCONUS locations.

• Must be capable of performing analyses of system operations
• Must have knowledge of and experience in the operations of hardware systems and components
• Must have experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems and individual components

Primary Responsibilities

Candidate is familiar performing within a fixed price, performance-based environment where performance is based on pre-determined Service Level Agreement’s (SLA’s) or Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL’s). Performs detailed and technically in-depth site survey functions at user locations as required in order to assess/analyze site preparedness, develop build of materials and develop implementation plans. Performs a variety of difficult assignments associated troubleshooting, fault isolation, and performing maintenance on network devices. Installs and maintains network devices from the following major vendors to include but not limited to: Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, and Infinera. Analyzes system faults and troubleshoots and runs diagnostic tests on hardware and circuits to detect problems. Reviews and prepares documentation for systems and maintains site documentation to include inventories, floor plans and cable diagrams. Investigates and recommends methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Performs preventive maintenance per OEM recommendations. In this high paced environment, able to handle the scheduling and coordination for multiple simultaneous projects with varying schedules and priorities. Coordinates with users, site/base support and or facilities personnel, network manager(s) and controllers, long haul and local carriers for installation, cutover, activation, deactivation planning and execution. Leidos is seeking a Secret Cleared experienced and motivated Customer Service Administrator that enjoys working in a dynamic fast-paced environment to support the ELITE Contract in Djibouti, Africa.   

This potentially funded program provides critical Communications and Information Technology Services to support Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF HOA/AFRICOM) and associated staff elements and organizations.  It provides our war fighters support in their mission to keep threats and vulnerabilities as low as possible by ensuring their computer network is stable, undisrupted, secure and will require OCONUS travel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair personal computer systems, hardware, software, computer peripherals, mobile devices, printers and AV equipment.

• Assist employees via remote access, phone, or in person. May also mentor or train other Computer Support Administrators.

• Have excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity. 

• Work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.

• Interface with both client managers and system users.

• Support systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Windows 10 Enterprise network.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and work with other teams to identify root cause and resolution.

• Remove old equipment and performing data migration to new machines.

• Implementation and administration of infrastructure services like FTP, IIS, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.

• Create and maintain thorough documentation for all desktop solutions and troubleshooting instructions in the Knowledge Databases.

• Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensuring that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.

• Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.

• May be required to provision and maintain mobile devices (NIPR, SIPR).  Selected candidates may supervise Computer Support Administrator teams.

• Provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required.

What you need to qualify:

• BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience.

• Experience with Dameware and Service Now is a must

• Microsoft MCSA or Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals

• CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater), current.

• Must hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ITIL v3 - Foundation.

• Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files.

• Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.

• Experience working with basic networking and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches

Leidos is seeking a DCGS-N Software Systems Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support the Distributed Common Ground System, Navy (DCGS-N) Systems Help Desk.

This includes DCGS-N INC 1, the DCGS-N Enterprise Node (DEN), the Joint Concentrator Architecture (JCA), the Intelligence Carry On Program (ICOP) and systems in development.

DCGS-N is the Navy's premier Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) processing system. The DCGS-N Help Desk provides hardware, I3/GALE software support and operational support to DCGS-N customers 24 hours by 7 days a week.

The Position involves extensive application configuration and candidates should possess an administrator-level understanding of n-tier enterprise applications (db, app server, client) architecture/management as well as the capacity to follow detailed installation procedures.
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in software and hardware investigations resulting from issues identified in reported trouble calls during the transition period.

Provide Technical Assistance reports for support provided to DCGS-N Help Desk Customers.

Support program management integration, systems engineering, and testing to resolve system CASREP issues. This may include CONUS and OCONUS travel to both shore and ship sites to support urgent operational requirements.

Provide installation support to the DCGS-N ISEA for the DCGS-N.

Support DCGS-N assessments to include shore and afloat sites to conduct Deploying Group Systems Integration Testing (DGSIT), Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Combat Systems Readiness Assessments (C5RA), Combat Systems Readiness Assessment (CSRA), and Inspection and Survey (INSURV) inspections.

Work as a "generalist" responsible for development and  integration of current and future DCGS-N system builds. 
 


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Active TS/SCI clearance

BS in CS, EE, SE or a relevant field and 2+ years of experience with DCGS-N  OR 6+ years direct experience with DCGS-N if no degree

IAT Level II certification such as Security+, Server+ as well as accreditation in Windows, Unix, Linux or Solaris operating systems

Professional experience with GALE, GCCS-J/M, SocetGXP  and/or ICOP

Experience in concept definition for software information systems.

Experience with both Windows and Unix systems administration in a heterogeneous environment  

Ability to travel up to 35% including possible underway periods onboard U.S. Navy ships.

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Blade Servers.

Experience in a Solaris 10, MS Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 environment.

Previous experience with Java/J2EE, Oracle
 
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance or Distributed Common Ground Station background.

Basic networking experience and Intel operations (IPL, CGS, JMPS, CVIC systems).

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Travel from 25% and up to 75%
