Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Engineer / Research Scientist to join our team! In this role you will get to support analytical research of machine learning deployments on various platforms.
What You'll Be Doing:
Experience working within and administering Linux systems and using Python, Bash, and source control/software repositories is critical.
Ability to work both individually and in a multi-team development project is important, as well as experience gathering results and publishing technical results for review
Administer Linux systems (Ubuntu, Mint, CentOS for example) and development using Python, C++, and other software repositories
Deploy optimized ML algorithms in a ROS environment on UGVs
Containerization technologies such as Docker to create images for perception algorithms to be evaluated in ROS environment
Contribute to research both individually and as part of a multi-team project
Document and publish the results of the field tests in technical reports

Salary Range:
$68,400.00 - $119,700.00
