Flowline, a division of FM Conway, is looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team working from our Colchester depot on a full time, permanent basis. As our HGV Class 2 Driver you will work as part of a two-person team to carry out a range of services including cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of drains.

Duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver role:

- Conducting all areas of drainage work, including high pressure water jetting (HPWJ) and CCTV surveys works

- Attending drainage related issues, including emergency callouts to deal with blockages or cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programmes

- Recording and feeding back works undertaken and any further works required

- Providing reports using our app system

What we’re looking for in our HGV Class 2 Driver

We are looking for candidates who have a class 2 licence and full CPC. You will enjoy working as part of a team and will have a strong concern for health and safety. We will consider applicants with no previous drainage experience as we are able to offer full training.

As a Delivery Driver (Cat B) Driver, our client offers:
* £140 to £185 per day - Self Employed.
* Fully Expensed Van.
* 9 hour planned Delivery Route.
* Paid Training Days.
* Full induction and training with a supportive team once your on the road.

What will the role involve?
* You will be delivering packages across a planned route to an approved timescale
* Loading and unloading parcels from your van (must be able to lift a minimum of 23kg)
* Driving a company van.

What are we looking for?
* You will need a UK or EU Driving Licence - 12 months+
* You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence
* Must be over the age of 20
* Hard-working, motivated and great at working in a fast-paced environment

What will you be doing?

• Driving to planned collection locations and loading refuse into truck.
  
• Helping out loading and unloading vehicles when required
  
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
  
• Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
  
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
  
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.
