About you and this role
We are looking for you, an ambitious Bachelor student (3rd or 4th year), to support our Customer Service Team by doing an internship project in Supply Chain and Logistics Operations for our location in Terneuzen, the Netherlands.

The Customer Service organization is a function of more than 300 employees, they are the interface between our customers and the business value chain partners. Our teams collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Logistics Departments, Sales and Finance, to create innovative solutions for our customers and drive for superior results. Giving you the ideal opportunity to experience Customer Service as part of Integrated Supply Chain on a large scale.
Project description Your internship will be jointly created so it will fit your interests and educational needs and could be within any of our Business Customer Service Team or Improve & Scale Team.
Focus areas could be Dow’s End to End Process, digitalization, tackling customer focused integrated supply chain challenges or improving the customer experience?
We will offer you a professional experience in one of our Customer Service Teams at one of the biggest and diverse and inclusive employers in the region, flexibility to work from home and in the office in the state-of-the-art Diamond Center Building including free access to the gym, internship allowance and commuting/travel compensation.
Qualifications
- You are currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Engineering (Bedrijfskunde), Commercial Economics or equivalent.
- You have a good working knowledge of English and preferably one other language (f.e. Spanish/French and/or German)
Preferred Skills
- You have good verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably one other language.
- You are eager on identifying and driving opportunities for (future) improvements.
- You are hands-on, eager to learn and a good listener.
- You can communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- You are organized, pro-active and have a problem-solving mindset.
- You have advanced Microsoft office skills (MS Teams, Excel).
- You collaborate well in a team as well as independent.
Additional notes
You can start or between February and March 2024 or between September and October 2024 for a period of 5-6 months (exact timing to be discussed).
