Summary of the role:
The Director of Sales is responsible for maximizing sales revenue and meeting / exceeding commercial goals for the assigned region/accounts.
In this role you’ll:
- Be accountable for sales goals associated with your assigned territory/ accounts.
- Complete required contracts and paperwork for order submission following established company policies.
- Take responsibility for an allocated portfolio of accounts that complements the overall team
- Be fully aware of market conditions and general industry information that may affect Amadeus business.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with customer base and understand their needs, provide support and show that Amadeus is a trusted business partner.
- Negotiate renewals and upsells with current customers
- Create new relationships with prospect customers and propose collaboration with Amadeus by providing presentations, demos, expert guidance, etc.
- Work with the collections department to ensure that all orders processed are paid within 60 days of invoicing.
- Be responsible for ensuring the Commercial Team supports the collections of outstanding accounts.
- Be responsible for working with clients on any open bills that are outstanding for more than 90 days.
- Manage pipeline Opportunities within SalesForce to accurately reflect 2 months out expected Forecast Sales for assigned accounts and territories
- Update SalesForce with all contact details for accounts and all activity done with accounts.
- Report frequently to management the progression of your customer base providing insights on how Amadeus can offer better opportunities to them
About the ideal candidate:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree holder (preferably in Hospitality Management, E-Commerce, or related field).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in a Sales, Revenue Management or E-Commerce role within the hospitality or travel industry.
- Must have a deep understanding of the hotel, travel & distribution for the Hospitality industry.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft office applications and SalesForce.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish. Native Spanish preferred.
- Sales & Marketing knowledge of Hotels & Emitting Markets within the Latam.
