As a Continuing Healthcare Independent Review the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Continuing Healthcare Teamto deliver NHS England’s statutory function to facilitate Independent Reviews of CHC eligibility.

In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; including for example, the preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required. Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department.

· Provide specialist secretarial/administration support and advice to the teams and/or Sector to support a number of initiatives by:



· Taking telephone calls from members of the public or their representatives either in relation to your own case load or matters for the wider CHC team. To use their initiative when dealing with phone calls and messages.



· Undertaking all administrative duties such as photocopying and prioritising mail and e-mail. Distributing as appropriate.



· Sorting and prioritising all incoming mail and e-mail, distributing as appropriate.



· Coordinate the caseloads to the Independent Chairs, taking account of availability and case complexity and clarify the appropriate type of panel members required



· Monitor that the IRP report is acted upon by the appropriate ICB Accountable Officer and CHC Lead within the appropriate timescale – escalating to the CHC IRP Manager where necessary



· Ensure all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and distributed from/to relevant parties in a timely manner.



· Organising and planning events as directed, providing all necessary supporting in local materials.



· Required to input, monitor and check data produced and required for on-going programmes and projects.

The Corporate Tax Senior Manager will be involved in Corporate Tax work across a broad range of sectors including insurance, property, technology, international businesses, high net worth individuals and globally mobile individuals.The role will involve assisting the Corporate Tax Directors and Partners in the management of client portfolios, delivering corporate tax services and managing the team within the corporate tax department. The scope is there to make this role your own and grow the portfolio alongside the partners if you so wish to.You will review provisions (including tax accounting schedules) and final tax computations and prepare advisory work on a wide range of business tax issues, such as expanding into different jurisdictions, setting up a share scheme or restructuring a group to make it more tax efficient.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager will be a confident, ambitious corporate tax professional with gravitas to join the existing corporate tax team.You will ideally be CTA/ ACA or CA qualified and be from a Big 4 or Top 20 accountancy firm.Experience of all corporate tax compliance and advisory solutions gained from a practice environment with a thorough understanding of corporate tax principles is desired.The ability to manage a large, complex portfolio that is profitable is essential.Report writing and due diligence in all matters of corporate tax is essential.The desire to hit the ground running but also gain more exposure to M&A work and international tax work is beneficial.Some team management or team mentoring skills would be beneficial.
