We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team, specializing in chiller maintenance and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in servicing chillers and related HVAC systems, demonstrating strong technical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Chiller Maintenance & Chiller Commissioning Work
· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding chiller operations and maintenance.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
· Educate clients on proper operation and maintenance practices to extend the lifespan of their chiller systems.
· Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining service activities, findings, and recommendations for future improvements.
· Execute commissioning processes for new chiller installations, ensuring systems are installed correctly and functioning as designed.
· Collaborate with MHI agent, customer and contractors to verify system performance and compliance with specifications.
· Foster a collaborative working relationship with contractors, encouraging teamwork and shared problem-solving.
· Work closely with the contractor to share knowledge, improve processes, and enhance overall service delivery.
· Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing service tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
· Conduct safety briefings and ensure all parties understand their responsibilities regarding safety.
· May involve working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
· Field-based role with travel to client sites.
· Available to respond to chiller breakdown calls during assigned standby shifts.
Requirements
· Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
· Proven experience in chiller maintenance, commissioning, or related HVAC roles (3-5 year).
· Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems, HVAC principles, and
· electrical controls.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
