As the Finance Manager / Accountant you will work closely with the Finance Team, Senior Stakeholders to design, implement and monitor compliance and financial controls.
Working as the Finance Manager / Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s financial operations are efficient, compliant with regulatory standards, and aligned with their strategic goals.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Finance Manager / Accountant include:
• Design and Implementation: Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of financial reporting
• Compliance Monitoring: Oversee compliance with financial regulations and standards, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure ongoing adherence
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
• Audit Preparation: Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring that all financial documentation is accurate and complete
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes and driving efficiencies across the organisation
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong background in financial controls and compliance
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to financial management, with a focus on accuracy and precision
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Leadership: Proven experience in managing and developing finance teams
