YOUR ROLE

This role is 4 days on, 4 days off - The role of the Cold Chain Operative is to ensure all QuickSTAT & Sterling Aviation consignments are processed upon receipt & dispatch from the Quick LHR Facility in conjunction with the company's documented procedure.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation & replenishment of QuickSTAT's dry ice consignments in conjunction with client requirements.
• Completion of daily facility sweep of Quick LHR facility to ensure all consignments are stored correctly & dispatch scheduled accordingly.
• Operation of material handling equipment (MHE) for the purpose of loading & unloading both inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Work in collaboration with Global Inventory Group to determine available stock for transfer to Quick & Logistics Service Partner facilities.
• Arrangement of stock transfers via 3rd party linehaul solution.
• Shared ownership for the management of departmental mailbox.
• Work in conjunction with related departments and line manager to resolve identified discrepancies / queries.
• Undertaking of cleaning duties to ensure highest level of facility hygiene standards maintained.
• Always maintain a professional manner towards colleagues / visitors & 3rd parties.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties / responsibilities at the request of the Department Manager or other Senior Management including assisting other departments during staff shortages.

• Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with one of our customers
• Using specialist equipment such as the sawmill, paint mixers and forklifts
• We sell building materials, so there will be an element of manual handling, we can make reasonable adjustments if you need them
• Merchandising stock displays and replenishing shelves across the branch
• The contracted hours for this role are 37 or more

Prior Accounts Payable experience
Sage 50 experience is ESSENTIAL

Office based 5 days a week
