Purchase Ledger Clerk - Nelson, Lancashire - Competitive Annual Salary
We are looking for a highly organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the Purchase Ledger Team in all matters regarding reporting, administration and helping to support the financial visibility across the site.
This role is a fixed-term contract for 13-months from December 2024.
What you will do:
• Processing of weekly payment runs.
• Assisting the processing of a high volume of invoices including European invoices.
• Weekly payment of employee expenses.
• Assisting in ensuring the intercompany account balance at each month end.
• Assisting with monthly GRNI reviews.
• Processing all new supplier set ups.
• Posting bank payments to the ledger.
• Monitoring and assisting with queries on the PO system.
• Assisting with month end duties.
• Running weekly and monthly reports.
What you will need:
• Proven experience in Purchase Ledger or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Dynamics 365 experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial matters.
• Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
