Starting at $122,753 Per Year (FG 14)

Do you have experience of being a ‘hands on’ cleaning supervisor and supervising staff?

Available immediately to work on a full time basis, minimum of 30 hours a week?

Our client, based in York is looking for an experienced, capable and confident cleaning supervisor to work with and oversee staff.

This is a temporary assignment, for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential of longer and a possibility of the role becoming permanent.

The role will be for a minimum of 30 hours a week. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 3.30pm – 9.00pm and one morning a week 7.30am – 10.00am.

The rate of pay is £13.43 per hour, plus night enhancements and paid weekly.

Duties will include:

Management and supervision of individuals and cleaning team, including co-ordinating cover/rotas.
Being the initial point of contact for Managers, Directors and senior staff, within the organisation, for all cleaning issues on site and external clients as well.
Responsibility for managing the cleaning budget, stock control and audits for all sites.
Recruiting, training and inducting new cleaners and where necessary working with cleaners on areas where standards have not been achieved.

We are looking for a proactive, passionate, and ambitious Nurse (RGN) with a valid PIN, to support us in creating the best person-centred environment for our residents at our beautiful home, Somerset House.

ABOUT THE NURSE RGN ROLEOur Nursing Teams are highly valued, skilled, friendly and naturally kind- and warm-hearted individuals who thrive in their roles, by mentoring others whilst focussing on the personal needs of our residents, empowering and delivering the care they deserve.
You will have a wide range of responsibilities to include making critical clinical decisions, assessing and developing person centred care plans, safely providing nursing care including administering medication, dressings and management of resident’s medical conditions.

ABOUT YOUAs an experienced qualified nurse RGN, who shows the most up to date knowledge of clinical practices, you will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, be keen in developing yourself and others and able to build good close relationships with residents and their families.
You will be driven and determined to deliver continuous improvement, with an enthusiastic approach and the ability to be highly responsive under pressure. It is also important that you share our same family care values, be a team player and committed to ensure the very best of care is delivered to our wonderful residents.
