Job Responsibilities:

Business License Management: 

Oversee the application, renewal, and management of all business licenses and permits required for branch operations.

Coordinate with municipal councils and other regulatory bodies to ensure timely submission of documentation and fees.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations regarding business licensing.

Maintain accurate records of all licenses, their expiration dates, and any relevant correspondence with authorities.

Resolve any issues or disputes related to licenses in a timely and effective manner.

Tenancy Agreement Management: 

Handle the preparation, review, and negotiation of tenancy agreements in collaboration with landlords and legal teams.

Ensure that all tenancy agreements are legally binding, protecting the company’s interests, and align with corporate policies.

Coordinate the renewal or termination of tenancy agreements, ensuring smooth transitions for office or branch relocations.

Monitor lease terms, rent payments, and other obligations to avoid breaches of tenancy agreements.

Maintain organized documentation related to tenancy agreements, including correspondence with landlords and authorities.

Municipal Council and Regulatory Liaison: 

Act as the main point of contact with municipal councils for matters related to business licensing and tenancy.

The Columbia VA Health Care System is currently recruiting for the position of a Rotational Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technicians at this grade level can work autonomously, using independent judgement to perform a full range of duties. The technician will assist in both outpatient and inpatient Pharmacy areas. Inpatient functions include packaging unit dose medications utilizing unit dose packaging machine, replenishing stock in automated dispensing machines, conducting routine ward inspections, preparing intravenous admixtures, and delivering medications to inpatient wards and outpatient clinics. Outpatient functions include filling and labeling medications for verification by a pharmacist, assisting patients at the pharmacy pick-up window, cleaning and refilling the outpatient automated dispensing machines, and preparing outpatient-controlled substances in accordance with facility policy for pharmacist verification. The incumbent performs all duties under the supervision of a pharmacist and is expected to acquire and maintain a high degree of accurate productivity and performance. The technician assigned to this role will be assigned to all areas, duties, and tours to cover all technical work assignments in the pharmacy, and other duties assigned by management.

Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately interpret, fills, and prepares prescriptions with appropriate medications and or medical supplies for pharmacist verification.
• Appropriately restocks controlled substances items in automated secured cabinets (i.e., Pyxis) in pharmacy or throughout medical center, as assigned.
• Assures drugs and supplies are appropriately stored and secured according to USP and VA guidelines, including the storage of high-risk, look a-like sound alike, hazardous, controlled substances, corrosive chemical, flammable liquids, and refrigerated items.
• Utilizes automation dispensing equipment available to the pharmacy staff following all safety and QA procedures. Reports automation malfunctions timely to the supervisor as appropriate.
• Compounds and/or reconstitutes oral or external medications (non-sterile).
• Answers questions from pharmacy and non-pharmacy personnel regarding drug distribution. Identifies basic therapeutic problems, such as duplicate therapy with drugs in the same class and alerts the pharmacist to the possible need for clinical intervention.
• Assists in training and orientation of new staff technicians, interns, and students. Assumes an active role in the overall pharmacy-training program consisting of students, externs, interns, etc.
• Ensures that proper handoff occurs when receiving or delivering controlled substances, assuring that at all times these medications are never left unsecured.
• Complies with all laws, regulations, directives, policies, and procedures applying to the dispensing, storage, transfer, inventory, and accountability of controlled substances.
• Assists inspectors with the inventory and accountability inspections.
• Receives and responds to all telephone inquiries from patients/family members regarding any issue related to prescription availability.

Plans use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by the supervisor. Coordinates work with supporting or related work functions controlled by other supervisors. Determines the number and types of workers needed to accomplish specific projects. Determines skills, materials, and equipment required to do the work. Redirects individual workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work. Informs the supervisor of the need to revise work schedules and re-estimate labor and other resources. Participates in the initial planning of current and future work schedules, staffing needs, estimates, and recommendations as to scheduling projected work. Assists the supervisor with quarterly funding distribution and decisions, based on operational needs for units supported by customer activities. Reviews funding requirements, prioritizes request and allocates funding based on readiness, training, and mobilization requirements.

Provides management with workload data, estimates, and recommendations to facilitate more effective management decisions for staffing and funding requirements to support customer units. Assigns tasks to be performed based on readiness and explains work requirements, methods, and procedures. Investigates work related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determines causes. Implements corrective actions within authority to resolve work problems. Recommends solutions to staffing problems, engineering requirements, and work operations directed by other supervisors. Ensures work in progress and completed work meets established standards by implementation of a quality control and assurance program within the organization. Performs non-supervisory work, such as, transporting equipment, performing maintenance tasks, etc.

Plans and establishes overall leave schedules. Determines training needs of subordinates and arranges for accomplishment. Sets performance standards and makes formal appraisals of subordinate work performance. Initiates recommendations for promotion or reassignment of subordinates. Ensures that regulations governing safety and housekeeping are observed with appropriate protective clothing and equipment being utilized. Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. Duties involve complex inspection work, requiring a wide variety of inspection processes and techniques, at remote worksites or field installations where a supervisor is not readily available. In these situations, work is performed very independently and decisions require a wide range of subjective judgments.

Inspects a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles such as attack tanks, large cranes, tank retrievers, fire trucks, bridge transporters, armored vehicle launched bridges, bulldozers, road graders, crawler tractors, power shovels, self propelled earth compacting equipment, self propelled artillery, etc. May also inspect heavy artillery, small arms, powered support and other equipment or components of equal or lesser complexity.

Inspects complex, interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems, equipment and their components while in operation or in a standby condition. Inspects and performs tests to braking, steering, and differential systems, which are mechanically integrated with the transmission; to large engines that directly power multiple hydraulic and pneumatic systems; to intricate fuel injection systems; to turret stabilization systems; and to other systems combined in a single, complex mechanical assembly. Uses specially designed testing methods and test equipment such as computerized test sets, precision gauges, electronic sensors, injector test stands, engine scopes, etc., to assure that tolerance and safety factors have been met.

Inspects equipment to determine repairs needed. Utilizes established Maintenance Expenditure Limits (MEL) to evaluate economic feasibility of repair(s). Considers a variety of factors such as cost and availability of parts, man-hours, and impact of time constraints on the mission to assess whether repair is economical. Recommends to a higher echelon to condemn equipment when the repair cost exceeds the established MEL. Prepares lists of needed repairs, parts, and man-hours authorized. Performs in-process inspections to assure that equipment is being repaired in accordance with pertinent requirements. Performs final inspection, certifying that equipment is in satisfactory operating condition, or rejects the work and returns the equipment to the repair shop with specific reports prescribing additional repairs.
