Your position as a Maintenance Associate oversees KINN properties in Engineering Activities, including equipment maintenance, repairs, operations, and managing materials and supplies. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, evaluating project designs, overseeing construction, managing inventory, evaluating contracts, and reporting progress to superiors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Directs, coordinates, and participates in all activities related to engineering matters.
- Installing, maintaining, repairing, and operating equipment and related systems.
- Receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling Engineering materials and supplies.
- Maintaining, installing, or repairing M & E equipment, building works, etc.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance and repair schedules for all equipment, machinery, and other facilities.
3. Prepares and/or evaluates designs and specifications for all Engineering projects, supervises the installation and construction of all Engineering work, and submits periodic reports on project status and operating performance to superior.
4. Controls and sees to adequate inventory of all Engineering supplies.
5. Evaluate all Engineering contracts and bids and submit recommendations to the superior.
6. Sees that all Engineering installations, constructions, and operations comply with building codes and government rules and regulations and acts as liaison with government agencies concerned.
7. Develop policies and procedures to govern and control activities of Engineering.
8. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures and recommend necessary changes.
9. To work closely with other department Heads and all staff to achieve and maximize guests’ satisfaction and smooth workflow.
10. Supervise contractors’ work within the building facilities.
11. To standby for recall and in the event of an emergency
12. To perform other duties as assigned by the Hotel Operations Manager
Requirements
- ITE / Diploma in Facilities Management Services / Estate Management / Building Maintenance / Engineering
- or related fields.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in a similar industry
- Able to work beyond normal working hours (5-day work week) and on weekends/ PHs where required.
- Good team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
