Your position as a Maintenance Associate oversees KINN properties in Engineering Activities, including equipment maintenance, repairs, operations, and managing materials and supplies. • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining Department expenses (including wages), ensuring the Department is operating in a way that maximises profitability and within budgetary guidelines
• Record the costs of repairs done by maintenance personnel and contractors accurately
• Plans regular maintenance and up-keep of all equipment and keeps accurate records, responsible for managing all planned maintenance projects

• Undertake special projects, as directed

Complete quarterly room checks on daily basis following standards for maintenance issues, ensuring remedial action is taken on any shortfalls.

Develop knowledge of hotel structure fixtures and fittings
Redecoration and refresh of public areas and guest bedrooms
Ensure that all maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner
Assist with preventative maintenance programme
Meet outside contractors arriving at the hotel, ensuring clear instructions from the maintenance manager
Follow and complete daily and weekly check lists of rooms and public areas
Organise any repairs in a manner that does not disturb guests
Ability to work on own initiative but, at the same time, be an integral part of the team



To cover the maintenance manager in his absence
To ensure health & safety checks including fire alarm testing, legionella flushing, emergency light testing, and site safety/security checks are carried out regularly maintaining the safety and welfare of our guests and staff.
