Tasks:
Assist Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
Perform review rounds of other technicians.
Lead and direct building maintenance technicians, in the absence of the supervisor.
Identify and provide on the job training to the building maintenance technicians.
Oversee the quality of work and completeness of the technicians.
Complete emergency work in assigned area.
Complete daily routines and preventative maintenance in assigned area.
Complete work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Shift Supervisor.
Be proficient in basic electrical repairs i.e. 110, 220, 277v light and ballast replacement, 120v outlet and 480 volt motor repair, utilizing a multi meter to check voltages to insure circuit is de energized before work begins.
Possess basic plumbing abilities to address leaks, maintain drains, and other general plumbing fixtures.
Ability to solder joints in copper piping up to 1” trade size as well as being able to assemble PVC piping for basic plumbing needs preferred.
Sign out all inventory parts as utilized.
Paint and perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, install drywall, paint, and furnishings of Buildings.
Engage in the general cleaning and upkeep of buildings.
Assist other departments as requested, including moving furniture, unloading, and storing supplies.
Utilize power tools and basic electrical measuring devices.
Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
Perform daily and weekly inspections of the facilities.
Other duties may be assigned.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Team Member must be willing and able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and 80 lbs (with assistance).
Team Member will work at heights utilizing ladders, scaffolds, man lifts and portable lifting devices.
Requirements:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
You must not exceed more than 7 attendance points.
You must not have received a written warning within the last 3 months.
No lateral transfer in the last 6 months.
Must have good communication skills.
SAP and fire monitoring knowledge preferred.
1 year experience working with Cat5, internet system and surveillance camera preferred.
1 experience working with shipping dock and roll-up doors preferred.
This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
