Manpower has an exciting opportunity for skilled Production and Assembly Operatives based at our client based in Coatbridge.

This role is a temp to perm opportunity and ideally you will have 6 months minimum experience in an electronics/production/machine operator role.

Initially training on a rotational pattern for 6 months on a, Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm Dayshift / Mon - Fri 2pm -10pm Backshift pattern

Once complete training period, you will then transfer to a Nightshift pattern Sun-Thurs 10pm - 6am

Role will involve:

• Operating assembly and production machinery
• Measure, weigh, examine and record data for all parts of products
• Informing Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues
• Monitoring a production or assembly line and conducting basic testing and quality checks
• Adhering to relevant health and safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products
• Keeping work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous material
• Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines

Skills required:

• Use of measuring equipment such as, micrometre, vernier and drop gauge
• Experience in soldering would be an advantage
• Ability to work as part of a team with a willingness to learn
• Safety conscious
• Good numerical, reading and computer skills
• Proactive and can take initiative to escalate issues
• Have great attention to detail
  

Full training on the product and machines will be provided.

PAYE £30,000 for first 6 months. rising to £33,000.
