Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
As an intern you support the project team in
Development of methodology for recycling of material left overs, scrap and end of life parts back to half finished AM Material
Review of the implications of recycling on the operational processes (operational impact analysis) and regulations/rules (certification analysis)
Assess pre- and post -processes regarding their implications on recyclability (e.g. surface finish, joining methods, etc.)
Get inside in the non-specific Research & Technology world
Learn how Airbus is assessing the life cycle impacts of products and technology, which will be a major driver for new products
Work in an transnational project team focused in Plateaus in Bremen and Hamburg
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Material Science or an equivalent field of study.
First practical experience in the field of Additive Manufacturing is desirable.
Fluent in German and English.
Creativity and thinking out of the box.
Experience within Project management.
