Delivering successful outcomes in this role, the main responsibilities include:

• You will work with a team of Database Specialists and Engineers and provide support for production and test Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 systems.
• You will join an Agile Delivery environment and will support and work closely with the development teams.
• You will undertake Oracle E-Business R12.2 application (ADOP) and technology stack (WebLogic, FMW) patching, and database patching/upgrades.
• You will clone Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 environments, administer database backups and perform disaster recovery tests.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? 

 

• Must have skills in Oracle Database technologies (e.g. Installs, Upgrades, Patching, Backup and Recovery)
• Experience of RAC, ASM, CRS, RMAN, Data Guard

The Role

Burnley FC in the Community’s Veterans Programme supports members of the Armed Forces community from across Burnley and East Lancashire. We support and run a number of projects within this programme to help Veterans connect, tackle loneliness and isolation, and improve health, fitness and wellbeing.



As our new Veterans Project Officer, you will act as the point of contact for the team and liaise with the Veterans Programme Manager and other associated staff to ensure the success of the programme.



The new role will lead our new National Champion support for Veterans programmes across the UK. Continuing to work alongside North-West’ Veterans Places, Pathways and People (VPPP) leads for consultation, the role will assist other Sports Club Charities across the UK to set up and maintain a Veterans specific offer.



The role will also support activities during our Veterans Wellbeing Hub at our Whitehough facility and act as support for other sessions across the programme including Football and Fitness.



Roles and Responsibilities

Assist on the strategic plan of the National Champion Project by working closely with the Veterans Programme Manager to meet all KPI’s and requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

Accurately and efficiently document business requirements and user stories in Axa’s tool of choice
Map process flows to support user stories
Ensure programme progress, risks and issues are reported, documented, and escalated as required through appropriate governance channels
Take ownership and responsibility to see problems through to conclusion
Develop deep understanding of the business and actively contribute to the definition of the to be business and IT architecture
Work alongside the Scrum master to ensure effective transition into new BAU operations

The Role

The Council has decided to review its Local Plan. We need a planning assistant in the policy team to help with this challenging task. You will support experienced and talented colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team on work that covers the whole range of planning policy areas including investigating the suitability of sites for housing, retailing, employment, and open spaces as development allocations in the local plan. The Council has been exploring innovative approaches to help address the challenge of climate change and will look to continue this work in the Local Plan Review.

The appointee will be involved in all aspects of the team’s work including supporting public consultation.

This is a hybrid working role and regular attendance is required in our offices in Lancaster and Morecambe. The post is permanent and full-time, 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. You may be required on occasion to work outside normal office hours in accordance with the needs of the service.

About You

You will be a planning graduate with some experience of working in a planning environment in either the public or private sector. Alternatively, you may be a geography or environmental sciences graduate also with some experience of working in a planning environment, with sound knowledge of planning concepts and have decided to pursue a career in planning.

A full current UK driving licence is essential, as the post holder will be required to undertake site visits across the District. As a result you will be required to sign up to the authorised external DVLA driving licence validation organisation that we use to manage and monitor our employees driving licence data.
