Hours: 37 hours per week
Located in Lancashire, close to the Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales, Ribble Valley is a beautiful rural area which includes market towns and picturesque villages and a large part of the Forest of Bowland Area National Landscape.
The combination of such an attractive area and proximity to large urban areas in Lancashire present an interesting and challenging mix of planning issues.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced planner to join a multi- disciplinary team dealing with planning policy, housing, economic development, and community partnerships. You will have a key role in the preparation and successful delivery of the Council’s new Local Plan.
You will also lead in delivering a range of related planning policy work. You must have a recognised town planning, or similar, qualification and knowledge of current planning legislation and guidance.
