As a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST at the GS-2210-15, some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Serves as senior financial & program - subject matter expert for SBA's Capital Access Financial Systems (CAFS) which supports the agency's trillion-dollar disaster and guaranty loan portfolio.
• Responsible for defining and monitoring performance metrics for OCA and provides recommendations for process, systems and quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Managing risk-based information security, data security, and cybersecurity programs within Federal guidelines and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards.
• Oversees the daily operation of the team, ensures that agency policies and priorities are being followed; develops performance standards; and evaluates work performance of subordinates.
• Serves as a point of contact for the agency with OCA Lending Partners and Vendor Associates concerning the interaction with OCA financial assistance business applications; addresses Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and IT audit findings; and represents and speaks for the OCA in conferences and meetings with Agency program officials, other agency officials, private sector lender or financial services organizations and national professional groups regarding complex system issues impact on OCA and its customers.
