An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 System Administrator to join the Chief Operating Officer’s Directorate, Northwest Region (Cheshire & Merseyside System) on a permanent basis.

The post is based at Regatta Place, Liverpool. However, other Northwest bases will be considered. A hybrid model of office and home working is in place across the team, with some travel required across the North West. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team and will be expected to carry out a wide range of administrative duties. They will be responsible for day-to-day business support work assigned to the System Co-ordination Team.

The post holder should have administrative and project/programme experience and must possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, including Microsoft Teams. They must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and prioritisation skills and have the ability to work effectively under pressure, from both a team perspective and on their own initiative.

The role is varied, and the post holder will be required to adapt to working within different workstreams and with colleagues from both inside the organisation and across the wider Cheshire & Merseyside and North West Systems.

The Technical Programme Manager will be responsible for managing the technical direction of the Digital Delivery Department and manage a small Team of Technical Consultants supporting the delivery and future development of the Trust’s Digital Strategy.

As Technical Programme Manager, you will continuously drive excellence in all aspects of the technical direction of the Digital Strategy to build our shared best practices. Projects will be delivered with care and attention to research, data, and organisational governance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a telecommunications/telephony specialist to join the EEAST. It is an opportunity to lead and drive the telecommunications strategy of the Trust.

This role is central to the delivery and continuity of Information Technology Telephony services across the Trust. This role will manage the overall technical design for the Trust’s telecommunications strategy, with the ability to present and demonstrate the Trusts telecommunication Infrastructure and strategy.

The post holder will manage an overview of all Trusts telecommunication technology requirements and agree standards for the approval of the functional specification documents to ensure consistency and compatibility with the strategic vision.

They will also manage the overall telecommunication technical design for the Trust’s telecommunication infrastructure, including documentation of all telecommunication infrastructure.

A suitable candidate will be a Telecommunication Specialist with full understanding of the technology vision, objectives, deliverables and organisational goals. This role is key to defining the strategy of the Trusts telecommunication technologies strategy with current and future industry standards.

Hybrid working is available with the post holder required to attend one of our three Regional Trust bases - Bedford, Chelmsford or Norwich as required.

To deliver the role of Digital Senior Database Administrator utilising highly developed specialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and practices relating to IT database management.

1. Key Responsibilities of the Role
• Undertake the technical review and design of all databases, replication, backup and restore, reporting services, and supporting technical documentation.
• Prime responsibility for the formulation and implementation of policies, relating to the support and maintenance of SQL database servers which are used to provide Trust wide clinical services and financial services.
• Responsible for the installation build, patching, and security of SQL servers in various configurations, including enterprise, clustered, and standard configurations.
• Responsible for all configuration issues relating to SQL servers and database options, including logging, collation, paging, and indexing.
• Responsible for setting and maintaining complex database plans, backups, and administration options.
• In the event of problems, operational responsibility for making rapid personal decisions regarding the most appropriate action to ensure continued (24/7) availability of core systems.
