The Position

• The Head of Medical Affairs (HoMA), ROPU ASKAN leads the Medical Affairs organization within a Therapeutic Area (TA).
• Throughout the developmental stages of an asset (pre-launch and post launch) and the entire life cycle of Boehringer Ingelheim products, HoMA leads the development of Medical Affairs-strategies and implementation of the corresponding Medical Affairs-activities in ASKAN. Requirements

• Must be a Doctor of Medicine or PhD in Sciences.

• To prepare and implement the shift duty roster and ensuring compliance with regulations of Ministry of Manpower. In event of any Safety Professionals not turning up for duty, he shall immediately arrange for a qualified and competent replacement.
• To attend all site, progress, variation, co-ordination, risk workshops or meetings (such as Design for Safety review meetings) and other meetings relating to the Project as directed by the Superintending Officer, including attending any safety and environmental meetings, promotions, risk assessments and campaigns.
• Participate actively in site safety management and enforce main contractor's compliance with safety requirements including attending any safety and environmental meetings, promotions, risk assessments and campaigns. While performing the Services, the Project Safety Manager shall highlight and work with CAG and/or CAG’s appointed agents to take immediate actions and follow up on unsafe practices and/ or design for safety (DfS) matters related to WSH (eg DfS audit) and aerodrome safety infringements on Site.
• To review of main contractor’s proposed method statement in the areas of risk assessment, work plan, standard operating procedures (SOP) and safe working procedure, incident investigation report and to verify that they are properly executed on site.
• Provide regular reports with analysis and assessment conducted on the safety performance of the site. Thereafter, suggesting recommendations to achieve CAG objectives, targets, and any other requirements.
• Monitor contractor’s safety performance and proactively engage the contractor to improve site safety and contractor's safety management.
• Ensure investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents are carried out and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
• Suggest Safety management System improvement related to Near Miss, Incidents, Significant Observations, Observation trending.
• Champion the engagement with CAG, main contractor, consultants, subcontractors and/or any other stakeholders to address issues identified.

Qualification:

• Minimum 10 years of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) experience in the construction industry, preferably 5 years with developer/main contractor.
• Minimum 5 years of WSH experience in deep excavation works.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a team of site safety personnel.
• Possess Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health Disciplines, or related qualifications.
• Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and has been practising as WSHO for at least 5 years.

The Position

• Lead the technical implementation of the species strategy for ROPU ASKAN to achieve business objectives and customer satisfaction, under strategic guidance of the ROPU ASKAN Business Segment Head.
• Provide excellent technical services to strategic accounts and key customers in the ROPU, in partnership with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and/or Regional Strategic Account Manager (RSAM), contributing to build stronger commercial relationships with the said key accounts.

• Ensure regularly sharing of best practice and Boehringer Ingelheim as well as competitor activities.
• Exchange information between the key accounts, SAMs, ASKAN poultry and GSAM team.

5. ORGANISATIONAL ALIGNMENT

• Serves as a first line single contact for ROPU/Global Strategic Account Management in alignment with ASKAN poultry leadership.
• First line of escalation to the global functions in case of customer demands (pricing, supply, key investment...etc)
• Provide support and suggestions to SEASK / Local SAMs/Global Customer management to facilitate potential negotiations with Customer.
• Ensures communication to key accounts stakeholder and to the Boehringer Ingelheim Management.
