About The Role
Providing quality food at a key customer site, your main aim will be to ensure the provision of an excellent standard of service.
You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, 37.5 hours per week on a permanent, full-time basis. Some weekend shifts also may be required.
You will:
* To effectively manage within budgetary constrains
* Maximise profitable sales by the introduction & maintenance of food service brands
* Plan and cost menus as per company and client specification
* To continuously develop and improve food quality and hygiene standards across all areas
* Preparation and service of all restaurant & hospitality requirements
* Conform to client and company specification
* To have knowledge of changes in legislation
* To meet the client and company expectations
* To respond to any reasonable request of the company or client
* To assist with staff recruitment, staff training, development & motivation of staff
* To ensure that adequate products, equipment and materials are properly stored.
To succeed in this role you will need:
706/1/2 or equivalent
HND Membership of HCIMA desirable
Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate
Practical experience in a quality establishment
Management experience within catering environment gained in contract catering
People management skills
Good knowledge of Food Safety & Health & Safety.
Must be a qualified chef with flair and imagination. Full craft background.
Must have a full understanding of cost control.
Computer literate.
Fully fluent in spoken & written English.
Able to motivate and develop subordinates.
Must be flexible and adaptable.
Be proactive at all times.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation.
Customer focused.
A strong motivator and team building skills.
A resilient and robust nature is essential
