People in Need (PIN) Philippines is currently looking for a FINANCE & ADMIN MANAGER.

Under the direct supervision of the Head of Systems and Operations/ Country Director, the Finance Manager is responsible for mission economy, mission’s compliance with PIN and donors’ financial and admin procedures and policies. Finance Manager directly manages a small finance team and continuously works on its capacity building.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Management

As a member of the Country SMT:

·         quickly develops strong knowledge and expertise of PIN systems, policies, and procedures;

·         Responsibility for overall country program economy (preparation of operational budget and its regular update, cost allocation planning, proper budgeting, cash flow and cost efficiency monitoring, FX rate risk, etc.)

·         ensures that relevant accounting, financial and administrative management procedures and systems of the country program are in place and used appropriately;

·         provides training of these procedures and systems to project and support staff;

·         ensures that project and country spending monitoring tools are updated and available;

·         monitors project spending and sends early alerts if spending issues;

·         prepares with program leads the expenditure forecasts;

·         prepares internal and donor budgets’ realignments in line with policies and procedures;

·         provides regular financial overview and updates to country and project management;

·         prepares financial and project reporting to the donors and HQ;

·         verifies, corrects, and approves financial and expenditure reports of PIN project partners;

·         manages cashflow of the country program and submits timely and sufficient fund requests;

·         ensures that all transactions are properly accounted for and the financial systems are maintained, under all procedures and controls;

·         plays a key role in expenditure verification, statutory and project audits (either internal or external); and

·         prepares budgets of new projects.

Accounting

·         responsible for integrity, accuracy, punctuality, and completeness of accounting data;

·         responsible of the quality of bookkeeping;

·         Responsible for the quality of posting and documentation of accounting transactions;

·         administers completion of regular accounting closure operations; and

·         ensures that all accounting issues and concerns are administered and acted promptly and responsibly.

Compliance

·         makes sure that PIN Philippines complies with all obligations towards local authorities;

·         ensures timely submission of the SEC reports;

·         ensures that PIN’s registration in the PHL is valid and remains active;

·         obtains any business authorisations;

·         ensures registration and compliance with local administration: SEC, PhilHealth, SSS, …

·         examines irregularities and non-compliance issues and ensure that findings are recorded and followed up with management so that issues can be rectified;

·         ensures quality and completeness of project documentation

·         sets up archiving rules and ensures they are implemented;

·         performs regular checks on proper archiving of accounting, procurement and HR documents; and

·         ensures that conditions and requirements of project donors are known and abided by.

• Salaries are according to People in Need Salary Scale. Candidates will be informed about the salaries in the beginning of the recruitment process

What You Will Achieve

The Puerto Rico Finance Manager will serve as the finance lead supporting assigned Puerto Rico commercial as well as field force teams within the Primary Care (PC), Specialty Care (SC) and Oncology business units.  The Puerto Rico Finance Manager will also serve as the local finance lead on all statutory reporting, lead all external audits and serve as local manufacturing markup (GMX) expert. This is a role that requires financial expertise for direct business partner and strategic financial decision support for key Primary Care, Specialty Care and Oncology brands as assigned. The successful colleague in this role will also be a key member of assigned brand leadership team(s) requiring significant direct interaction with other LT members including finance and marketing colleagues. The Finance Manager will provide financial leadership, business consultation, and analytical support to each of the assigned commercial brand teams. As a strong partner, the Puerto Rico Finance Manager will serve as the first point of contact on all finance related questions, analyses, and deliverables for his/her commercial teams (i.e. monthly accruals, reporting and expense management, budgeting and forecasting).  You will also provide financial leadership on business initiatives that unlock business value to maximize results while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.  Finally, you will key in providing financial analysis designed to monitor business performance.

As a Puerto Rico Finance Manager, you are a subject matter expert who will provide analysis and insight into brand P&L performance (i.e., revenue, cost of sales and opex) and will leverage your financial acumen skills, knowledge of industry and general business insights to adapt and implement strategic actions. Your breadth of knowledge on internal or external business challenges will help us improve our performance as well as processes. You will provide technical guidance and oversight to matrixed team members and help in problem solving.

This role reports directly to the VP Finance, US Oncology with dotted line responsibility to US Finance Directors within Primary and Specialty Care business units.

How You Will Achieve It

• Revenue Forecasting – The Puerto Rico Finance Manager is responsible for developing Sub BU revenue forecasts including creating multiple revenue forecasts for each product. This requires collaboration with the US Finance Lead and leading local brand teams on key assumptions and drivers to substantiate submissions. Prior to submission, the Puerto Rico Finance Manager will review each forecast with the assigned business unit commercial and finance lead.  Finally, the Puerto Rico Finance Manger will work with the marketing brand teams in the development of the annual Operating Plan and Long Range Forecasts.

• Expense Management – The Puerto Rico Finance Manager must collaborate with brand teams on expense management of budgets and on the development of expense forecasts. The Puerto Rico Finance Manager will manage Puerto Rico market field force financial activities and cost center reporting including budgeting, forecasting, expense reporting and analysis.    

• Month/Quarter Close – The Puerto Rico Finance Manager is responsible for key accounting activities required at period close. This includes recording expense accruals, recording contractual rebates, completing balance sheet reconciliations, GMX cost of sales analysis and performing accounts receivable reviews.

  Reporting – The Puerto Rico Finance Manager is responsible for tracking brand performance (i.e. weekly, monthly, and quarterly) as well as identifying and communicating key performance drivers to the North America Finance Lead, Commercial Leaders including Brand and Finance management.

• Provide analysis and insight into the Sub BU and brand P&Ls including revenues, cost of sales, and A&P spend which requires that there is an understanding of the products and their competitive

• Lead all Local and Global Mosaic entries and adhoc FP&A inputs as directed by the US finance lead.  Finally, there may be additional requirements by sub BU and the Puerto Rico Finance Manager will be responsible for additional adhoc reporting deliverables.    

• Lead Continuous Improvement, owning the design and optimization of current and future processes, ensuring efficiency, standardization and implementation of processes, working closely with key partners.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• BA or BS degree required; MBA, master’s degree in finance/accounting, or CPA preferred

• 5 years of business finance experience required; 3+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience preferred

• Product P&L financial management experience required

• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Must possess expertise in financial modeling & analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with strong excel skills

• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written, presentations); ability to summarize critical information into clear, concise, and insightful updates for senior leadership; strong negotiation and influencing skills

• Demonstrated IT skills, including MS Office; strong understanding of financial data flows; ability to navigate respective accounting and reporting systems, and learn new systems

• Track record of working well in a highly matrixed environment

Responsibilities:

• 90% of the time as an Investment Manager
• Supporting and coaching Relationship Managers (Citigold Wealth Management Advisors).
• Meetings with Clients with regards to advised products, market situation and Citi’s outlook, analysis of clients portfolio, thereby increasing client satisfaction and share of wallet of existing clients and successfully acquire new clients.
• 10% of the time as a Research Analyst (continuous monitoring of the financial markets)
• Investment analysis, preparation of investment recommendations and recommended portfolios
• Running calls for Relationship Managers regarding the products and market situation
• Preparing presentations for clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/University degree
• Stock broker license is a must, participation in the CFA program or Investment Advisory exam will be a plus (at least one level passed)
• Experience in investment on capital markets (Brokerage House, Investment Fund House)
• In-depth understanding of global economic, market dynamics and investment products
• Strong investment product knowledge
• Experience with presentation to variety of audiences
• Strong capacity to recognize and assess risks and opportunities
• Self-starter and capable to work in proactive and independent manner
• High work ethic and willingness to go to the extra mile
• Very good Polish and English

Role Overview:

Leads the activities of two or more scrum teams enabling enterprise wide data modernization in partnership with CDO , Product Owners , Business and Technology teams . Responsible for setting the long and short-term strategic direction for the M&T tech data ecosystems. Serves as primary contact to the Technology leadership team , Sr Product Owners , CDO and business partners when it comes to transformational initiatives . Owns the budget of concurrent development streams. Assists in the development and career planning for all team members. The team will be executing in Scrum/Kanban fashion, and this role will be responsible for the assistance in prioritization for the team; be a partner to the various tech team as to the work coming in for data; participate in the data modernization initiatives ; be a representative of the Data work when it needs to be discussed at an architecture level.

Primary Responsibilities:

People Leadership

· Participating in our engineering culture, with an emphasis on contributing ideas, thoughts, and constructive feedback regarding the work of others on our team.

· Assisting with interviewing, onboarding, and training engineers as they join the team.

· Assisting leading a team of developers and engineers on their agile transformation journey including: performance management, Career planning, Technical implementation guidance on the stack that they develop on, Technical guidance around build/release automation & devops, Participate in code reviews

Technical Leadership

· Create high complexity detailed technical design, involved in detailed analysis, design, construction and testing thereby ensuring technical compatibility and integration.

· Recommend, design and code efficient and effective solutions for challenging problems for medium to large work efforts of medium to high complexity.

· Responsible for ensuring compliance  with ELT/ETL standards and guidelines related to the design, construction, testing, and deployment activities within the Delivery Management environments.

· Act as the single point of contact and set clear expectations with Data Tech teams and hold them responsible for the planning, completion and coordination of work activity for projects involving more than one developer

· Perform the role of Application Owner including tasks like

o Disaster recovery planning

o Vulnerability management

o Audit / compliance management

Functional (Domain) Leadership

· Perform complex analysis, and summarize to senior leaders in simple language

· Work with various stakeholders in developing high level functional specifications, and use a combination of technical and domain knowledge to propose solutions and product features

· Participate/Contribute in requirements and analysis discussion with stakeholders

Process Leadership

· Build out and streamline agile teams responsible for M&T’s data modernization initiatives .

· Enable self-service frameworks to ensure adoption of data products and features .

· Constantly look for opportunities to make the workflows and processes efficient – across business processes, software development processes, etc

Minimum Qualifications Required:

· Minimum of an Associate degree and with 9 years’ technology or systems management/leadership experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 9 years’ technology or systems management/leadership experience

Education

· Computer science, development and/or systems engineering background required

Required Technology skills

· In-Depth Knowledge of data architecture as well as modern data architecture as well as consumption solutions such as data mesh , data fabric , data lake or other Solutions

· Experience in cloud-data technologies, such as: Snowflake, Azure , Databricks etc.

· Experience in big-data technologies, such as: Hive, Impala, Kudu

· Experience or understanding of implementation patterns foir various ETL / ELT tools such as Informatica, Mattalion , Striim ,Databricks , DBT  (or equivalent) tools.

· Experience or have an understanding of working with multiple file structures – Mainframe, Flat files, Json, XML’s

·  Experience or have an understanding Programming skillsets in at least one of these languages: Java, Scala, Python

Preferred Technology skills

· Realtime processing like Spark streaming, Kafka

· Cloud computing (Azure, AWS)

· NOSQL Databases such as Mongo, Cassandra, HBase

· Cache software such as Gemfire, Ignite, Redis

· Reporting/Dashboard tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik

Preferred Other skills:

· Agile (such as JIRA), Source code repository (Git, Bitbucket, etc.) CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Teamcity, etc.),

Location:

The Regulatory Reporting Senior Manager is responsible for the delivery of selected regulatory filings, coordination and overseeing the performance of regulatory reporting team as well as representation of that team in communication with its stakeholders. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the reporting is prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of reporting of selected regulatory submissions to:

  • National Bank of Poland (financial reporting)

  • Bank Guarantee Fund

  • Polish Financial Supervisory Authority

• Automations od the process, controls, and data quality checks, including cooperation in the data warehouse implementation project

• Supporting the bank’s parent company in fulfillment of respective regulatory submission on consolidated level

• Conducting variance analysis and sanity checks related to reported data

• Management of external vendors supplying reporting systems

• Cooperation with bank’s other organizational units, auditors, regulators, banking sector

• Control over adequacy of regulatory reporting based on implemented control mechanisms and monitoring

• Preparation of internal manual and procedures covering the reporting process

• Oversight of book-closing process, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period

• Providing advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm or business unit strategy

• Utilization of comprehensive knowledge within entire finance division in order to achieve organizational goals

• Acting as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and other team members

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting field or in financial audit / advisory firms

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Master’s degree preferred

• High proficiency in English and Polish

• Skills and experience in using MS Office

• Skills and experience in using database language and business intelligence tools will be advantageous

• IFRS/IAS knowledge

• Ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization

• Ability to manage workstreams in parallel and multitask

• Proven organization and time management skills as well  problem-solving and decision-making abilities
