Your new role

As their new Senior Finance Business Partner, you will work alongside the Heads of Departments and to provide operational and strategic support on all financial matters, prepare and review the monthly management accounts alongside, provide insightful management information and financial analysis and deliver to tight deadlines. Work with the teams to develop a clear understanding of the drivers of business performance in order to enhance financial forecasting and decision-making. Line manages members of the finance team, providing developmental support or training as necessary and be actively involved in line management and training of the wider team. What you'll need to succeed

You will be suitably qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) with full UK working rights in place, with a background in large organisations and a proven ability to lead, manage, develop, and motivate a professional team. Your new role
As their new Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for the preparation of the annual budgets and forecasts for your portfolio. Ensuring income and expenditure are tracked during the year, and that timely and accurate management information is provided to senior management, budget holders and other stakeholders. Provide clear month end reporting with meaningful analysis and commentary for relevant budget holders and ensure they have a clear understanding of their position and support them in identifying and analysing remedial actions where necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant or part-qualified / QBE with strong business partnering experience ideally gained from working within the not-for-profit / charity sector and working with key stakeholders to assist them with their budgets.

This role is a 12-month FTC, a hybrid role with 2 days in the Manchester office, and the rest of the week remote where works for you. A salary between £45,000 to £47,000 per annum plus great benefits which include above market average pension and annual leave entitlement.

Your new role You will be responsible for commercial finance data gathering and analysis, generating useful management information and providing interpretation for the business, particularly across various subsections. You will be working on regional benchmarking reports while looking for efficiencies, improvements, and recommendations. Producing and presenting at SLT level. Supporting the co-ordination of commercial financial reporting for the business, together with related analysis including operational plans, budgeting, and forecasts. Analysis and implementing KPIs.
