Creation Technologies is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Sr. Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Central Region with the experience, intellect, financial acumen, and leadership skills required to make significant contributions to the continued growth and commercial success of the company. As the Finance Business Partner for the Senior Vice President of the Central Region, the Sr. Director will be objective, leading collaborative cross functional conversations to drive relevant, flexible, and efficient financial planning and analysis that supports key business decisions.

He/she will have the mentality to think like the owner of the business and take a proactive yet collaborative approach to accomplishing business goals. This position reports directly into the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis with a strong dotted line to the Senior Vice President, Central Region. The role will be based in Creation’s Dallas, Milwaukee, St. Peter or Hermosillo, Mexico locations.
Specific Responsibilities
- Serve as an objective financial steward, with an enterprise perspective, and a trusted business partner who enables effective decision making that creates value.
- Lead monthly financial and operational reviews for the Region supporting $260M+ in annual revenue developing a thorough understanding of results (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Free Cash Flow) and providing insights on trends.
- Clearly communicate a cohesive and concise story around regional business drivers and potential implications on future results.
- Align financial forecasts and long-range planning processes with Regional business partners and Enterprise finance teams. Drive value by providing financial and analytical counsel to facilitate decision-making around strategic business initiatives.
- Works effectively across matrixed organization, including commercial, supply chain, BU/Regional finance teams, Enterprise Finance, Accounting and Tax on major initiatives including but not limited to business model evaluation, cost saving opportunities, cost of quality analyses, vendor selection & negotiation, and operational efficiency.
- Identifies opportunities to drive revenue growth, margin improvement and cost savings including customer analytics and trending.
- Provide financial modeling, financial analysis, and valuation support for new customers, product development, and other ad-hoc financial projects.
- Drive process improvements by identifying need for change, proactively gathering requirements, designing, developing, and implementing change.
- Lead and develop a team of four team members
Skills and Competencies
- 10+ years of relevant financial experience and 7+ years of managing a team.
- Experience in a global manufacturing and supply chain environment. Standard costing environment preferred.
- Strong results orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding business objectives.
- Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modeling.
- A team player who is collaborative and receptive to ideas from others and works effectively across functions to identify and resolve critical issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with all levels of management.
- Professional executive presence and poise; drives business results through clear communication and collaboration.
- A creative, yet pragmatic, problem solver who is hands-on as well as detail oriented.
- Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills.
- Experience working with a SaaS CPM Solution such as Adaptive Planning, Planful (Host Analytics), Hyperion, etc. Oracle or Fourth Shift experience a plus.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
Education
The Sr. Director FP&A, Central for Creation Technologies will have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years’ work experience in Finance and/or Accounting plus 7+ years of leadership experience.
