In line with our business expansion we are seeking for highly motivated individuals to join us as Senior Systems Engineer.

Job Descriptions:

• Provide L2 support for Windows servers and database environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve authentication or certificate management related topics.
• Support release activities together with our stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the relevant support team to ensure timely resolution of user issues and efficient escalation processes.
• Must respond to Customers’ concerns and complaints in an adequate manner.
• Document technical procedures, solutions, and system configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshooting, Incident Management & Resolution.
• Work to comply with SLA and OLA
• Responsible in POC preparation, Installation & Testing
• Responsible for UAT, trouble shooting, support & maintenance

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree or other equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of support experience
• At least 2 years of working experience in the following technologies: Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, SAN storage, Hyper-Converged-Infrastructure
• A strong interest in working information technology environments.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate between technical and business teams
• Able to interact with various levels of internal and external stakeholders both in written and verbal forms • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Works effectively both as a team member and independently
• Experience with Cisco network devices (switches, routers).

FIRST LINE SUPPORT ENGINEER
GLOUCESTERSHIRE
£25,500 - £26,000

Our client in the Technology Industry, is looking for a First Line Support Engineer to play a crucial role in providing first-line technical support to clients, troubleshooting software-related problems, and ensuring seamless installation and configuration of software products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a First Line Support Engineer your key duties will include:
•Providing prompt and effective first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop sessions
•Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving software-related problems and technical issues
•Assisting clients with the installation and initial configuration of software products
•Keeping up-to-date with the latest software updates and features, sharing knowledge with clients
•Escalating complex issues to the 2nd Line Support teams
•Offering basic training to clients on using the software effectively
•Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, technical issues, and resolutions
•Assisting in testing new software releases and updates to identify and report bugs

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the role of First Line Support Engineer, you must have:
•Previous experience within a Technical Support role or someone with IT qualifications who is looking for their first IT role
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
•The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
•Self-motivated with a positive attitude

Freelance Site Engineer Role - Highways Project - Long Term Contract 6 - 12 months
Your new companyYou will be joining a forward-thinking and innovative Tier 1 contractor whose main purpose is to build a better society with a customer-focused mindset. This contractor has an exciting opportunity working on a repairs and reactive maintenance project in the Sheffield area which you will be a part of.

Your new roleYou will be responsible for, but not limited to, the construction of multiple drainage systems across the highways project, which will involve attenuation tanks and establishing compounds. Furthermore, you will be writing temporary work design briefs and keeping an accurate and detailed site record of all works. You will be contributing to a successful working environment.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed, you will need experience as a Site Engineer on Highways projects with a focus on groundworks, earthworks and drainage. Furthermore, you will have a valid CSCS card, a National Highways passport is desired but not essential.
